Cartoon network&#8217;s &#8220;We Baby Bears&#8221; kids cartoon plans to introduce school aged kids to gender ideology in an upcoming episode that includes non-binary characters who go by &#8220;they/them&#8221; pronouns.
The cartoon — that is <a href="https://www.commonsensemedia.org/tv-reviews/we-baby-bears#:~:text=Parents%20need%20to%20know%20that,used%20but%20never%20cause%20injury.">described for ages 6 and up</a> — will air &#8220;Polly’s New Crew&#8221; during Pride Month with its &#8220;LGBTQ inclusive episode,&#8221; <a href="https://glaad.org/glaad-exclusive-watch-sneak-peek-of-non-binary-inclusive-episode-of-we-baby-bears/">GLAAD</a> reported.
The piece noted that some friends arrive to help reunite with their old pal Polly the Pirate Captain who is under the effect of a pirate curse and needs their help.
&#8220;I am the great Winnifred, she/her. Actor extraordinaire!&#8221; one character said.
&#8220;Our crew also has a new addition,&#8221; one bear said. &#8220;Meet Box! They use they/them pronouns and they make an exceptionally good quiche!&#8221; Polly the captain then replied, &#8220;I use they/them pronouns as well!&#8221;
News of the episode drew a backlash on social media for introducing kids to the this language.

It is not the first time the children&#8217;s cartoon has included an episode dealing with LGBTQ language. Last month, it released an episode featuring trans-identifying male activist Dominique Jackson.
The network also defended it by sharing in a <a href="https://glaad.org/watch-exclusive-clip-cartoon-networks-we-baby-bears-featuring-dominique-jackson/">statement</a>, &#8220;During the production of &#8216;We Baby Bears,&#8217; a few crew members came out with they/them pronouns, and we felt that it was important to reflect that in the show.&#8221;
&#8220;Our show team values representation because it&#8217;s something everybody on the show deeply cares about, and that&#8217;s why we aim to cast LGBTQ talent like Alok Vaid-Menon, Harvey Guillén, and Dominique Jackson,&#8221; the statement added.
The gender ideology push and targeting of kids seems to be coming from everywhere these days including company&#8217;s families used to feel they could trust their kids to watch like <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/talking-to-kids-about-gay-stuff-is-actually-crucial-meet-the-lgbtq-content-creators-and-companies-indoctrinating-your-kids" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nickelodeon</a>.
In 2021, the network released a YouTube video on its &#8220;Blue&#8217;s Clues &amp; You&#8221; channel titled, &#8220;The Blue&#8217;s Clues Pride Parade Sing-Along Ft. Nina West.&#8221; The video featured transgender characters like cartoon beavers with mastectomy scars.
