<p>Recording artist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kid-rock" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kid Rock</a> is reportedly set to take the stage on Thursday at the Republican National Convention (RNC), where he will perform a themed song in honor of former President Donald Trump officially accepting the Republican Party&#8217;s 2024 nomination.</p>
<p>Fox News reporter Bill Melugin shared some behind-the-scenes video of Kid rock — born Robert James Ritchie — prepping for Thursday evening&#8217;s performance.</p>

<p>He also donated money to support the innocent rally-goers who were also wounded when a shooter opened fire on Trump&#8217;s Pennsylvania rally, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore and injuring two in addition to the former president.</p>
<p>Questions still surround the shooting, as many have asked how a potential shooter — who was reportedly a known threat — was able to attain an elevated position with a direct line on Trump.</p>

<p>Comey&#8217;s photo, which he shared via Instagram, showed seashells arranged to form the numbers &#8220;86&#8221; and &#8220;47&#8221; — which was interpreted to mean &#8220;get rid of&#8221; President Donald Trump, the 47th president. It quickly caught the attention of a number of critics — including current FBI Director Kash Patel.</p>

Disgraced Former FBI Chief Deletes ‘86 47′ Post That Got Kash Patel’s Attention

<p>As more and more &#8220;bombshells&#8221; drop about former President Joe Biden&#8217;s last days in office — many coming from the soon-to-be-released &#8220;Original Sin,&#8221; written by CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson — one question has remained top of mind especially for critics of the last administration: &#8220;Who was running the country?&#8221;</p>
<p>Revelations from the book thus far have included, among other things, claims from Biden&#8217;s cabinet members that they were actively kept from meeting with him — claims that appear substantiated by the fact that he only held three full cabinet meetings in 2023 and one in 2024. Tapper and Thompson were also told that Biden failed to recognize his longtime friend — and host — actor George Clooney at a Hollywood fundraiser.</p>
<p>The more evidence piles up, the more critics ask: if Biden was clearly incapable of finishing the 2024 presidential race, then how could anyone say he was still capable of serving as president? And if he was incapable of serving as president, &#8220;who was running the country?&#8221; And, on a related note, where was Vice President Kamala Harris?</p>
<p>&#8220;Dems/media still missing the story on Biden. Yes, it&#8217;s bad that you guys lied about his health. But it&#8217;s amazing that nobody is asking WHO WAS RUNNING THE COUNTRY FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, because it was clearly not the guy we elected. In The Wake Of Biden Book ‘Bombshells,’ One Pressing Question Still Remains

<p>The hosts of ABC&#8217;s &#8220;The View&#8221; joined a number of other media personalities in claiming that President Donald Trump was only allowing 59 Afrikaners to claim <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/spare-me-scott-jennings-scorches-dems-for-sudden-about-face-on-refugees" target="_blank" rel="noopener">refugee status</a> because they are white — while also claiming that because the Afrikaners are white, they are not &#8220;truly refugees.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sunny Hostin addressed the issue during Thursday&#8217;s broadcast, complaining that the Trump administration had limited refugee status for Afghans and Haitians, to whom she referred as &#8220;truly refugees.&#8221; Hostin also took a swing at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, saying she found it to be an &#8220;insult&#8221; that the former South Dakota Governor holds that position.</p>

<p>&#8220;For me, you know, I think one thing — having Kristi Noem be in charge of Homeland Security, in and of itself, is an insult, it&#8217;s just an insult,&#8221; Hostin began. &#8220;And I think something that we&#8217;re not talking about — enough about — is what Donald Trump did on Monday: the Trump administration allowed in 59 white South African refugees into this country, claiming that they were fleeing racial discrimination and land appropriation.&#8221;</p>
<p>Hostin went on to claim that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa had disputed reports of land appropriation and racially motivated discrimination — despite the fact that Ramaphosa himself signed a bill into law in late January that allows the government to expropriate private property for reasons up to and including &#8220;to promote inclusivity and access to natural resources.&#8221;</p>
<p>The Afrikaners, according to Hostin, did not qualify as refugees. Instead, she referenced refugees from Afghanistan and falsely claimed that the program in place to grant protected status to Afghans &#8220;who helped us&#8221; during the war had been ended. In fact, the <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/afghans-deportation-protections-ending/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suspended</a> Afghan Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program is entirely separate from the more permanent Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program exclusively for Afghans who were allies during the war.</p>
<p>&#8220;And so the fact that Afghan refugees — people who helped us during the Afghanistan war — who helped us and protected our troops, that program has been dismissed. The fact that Haitians that are truly refugees, they have been denied protected status.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;They&#8217;re not white people. That&#8217;s why they don&#8217;t want them here,&#8221; cohost Joy Behar suggested.</p>
<p>&#8220;She said it, I didn&#8217;t,&#8221; Hostin agreed.</p>

‘The View’ Hosts Are Pretty Sure That White South Africans Aren’t ‘Truly Refugees’

<p>President Donald Trump panned the notion of birthright citizenship on Thursday ahead of arguments on the subject at the Supreme Court, saying that it&#8217;s bad for the United States and good for illegal aliens who want to gain a foothold in the country. &#8220;The drug cartels love it!&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Trump laid out his complaint in a lengthy post to his Truth Social platform, arguing that the practice was outdated and that in the 21st century, there was no place for a policy that automatically conferred citizenship to every baby born on American soil.</p>

<p>&#8220;Big case today in the United States Supreme Court,&#8221; Trump began. &#8220;Birthright Citizenship was not meant for people taking vacations to become permanent Citizens of the United States of America, and bringing their families with them, all the time laughing at the &#8216;SUCKERS&#8217; that we are!&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The United States of America is the only Country in the World that does this, for what reason, nobody knows — But the drug cartels love it!&#8221; he continued. &#8220;We are, for the sake of being politically correct, a STUPID Country but, in actuality, this is the exact opposite of being politically correct, and it is yet another point that leads to the dysfunction of America.&#8221;</p>
<p>Trump went on to explain the roots of birthright citizenship as a policy, noting that it dated back to the end of the Civil War.</p>
<p>&#8220;Birthright Citizenship is about the babies of slaves,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;As conclusive proof, the Civil War ended in 1865, the Bill went to Congress less than a year later, in 1866, and was passed shortly after that. It had nothing to do with Illegal Immigration for people wanting to SCAM our Country, from all parts of the World, which they have done for many years. It had to do with Civil War results, and the babies of slaves who our politicians felt, correctly, needed protection.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Please explain this to the Supreme Court of the United States,&#8221; the president added. &#8220;Again, remember, the Civil War ended in 1865, and the Bill goes to Congress in 1866 — We didn’t have people pouring into our Country from all over South America, and the rest of the World. It wasn’t even a subject. What we had were the BABIES OF SLAVES. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Good luck with this very important case. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.!&#8221;</p>
<p>Trump followed that a short time later with a second post, once again referencing the policy&#8217;s origin just after the Civil War ended: &#8220;Remember, it all started right after the Civil War ended, it had nothing to do with current day Immigration Policy!&#8221;</p>
<p>Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) echoed Trump&#8217;s thoughts in a post to X, saying, &#8220;Granting birthright citizenship to illegal aliens is unlawful and it has contributed to the highest levels of illegal immigration in history. President Trump is right to call to end this farce.&#8221;</p>

Trump Sounds Off On Birthright Citizenship Ahead Of SCOTUS Argument: ‘Drug Cartels Love It’

<p>Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) refused to answer a question from CNN anchor Kasie Hunt about former President Joe Biden&#8217;s obvious cognitive decline, saying instead that he was &#8220;looking forward&#8221; and changing the subject to attack President Donald Trump.</p>
<p>In the context of the forthcoming book &#8220;Original Sin&#8221; — which explores Biden&#8217;s decline and the lengths to which the people around him went to cover it up — Hunt asked Schumer a question that essentially boiled down to the classic &#8220;what did you know, and when did you know it?&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;I really do want to ask you about something that has been breaking out of CNN, our Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson have written a book called &#8216;Original Sin&#8217; and they call it a cover-up of Biden&#8217;s health and his cognition and his fitness, quite frankly, to be President of the United States,&#8221; Hunt began, and she noted that Schumer had met with Biden on a number of occasions in the months leading up to the disastrous debate on CNN in late June.</p>
<p>&#8220;Did you really not have any idea that he was not fit to serve a second term?&#8221; she asked.</p>
<p>&#8220;Kasie, we&#8217;re looking forward,&#8221; Schumer replied. &#8220;We have the largest Medicaid cut in front of us, we have the whole federal government at risk —&#8221;</p>
<p>Hunt interrupted then, reminding Schumer that the entire premise of the book was that Biden&#8217;s apparent lack of fitness — and his insistence upon running anyway — may be the reason Democrats were dealing with a second term under President Donald Trump.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re looking forward,&#8221; Schumer said again, making it clear that he had no intention whatsoever of addressing her question.</p>
<p>According to the book, Schumer actually <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamalas-team-tosses-biden-under-the-bus-blames-him-for-2024-loss" target="_blank" rel="noopener">met with Biden</a> in Rehoboth Beach after the debate in June, warning him that if he did not choose to exit the presidential race gracefully, he was likely to lose to Trump and sully 50 years of public service.</p>

Chuck Schumer Won’t Say When He Knew Biden Was Unfit To Serve

<p>Even liberally applied &#8220;Hollywood Magic&#8221; was not enough to save a floundering former President Joe Biden — &#8220;magic&#8221; that included help with lighting and sound from mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg and direction from Oscar-winner Stephen Spielberg, says the new book &#8220;Original Sin&#8221; from CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson.</p>
<p>In an <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-political-scene/how-joe-biden-handed-the-presidency-to-donald-trump?mbid=social_twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_social-type=owned&amp;utm_brand=tny" target="_blank" rel="noopener">excerpt from the book</a> published on Tuesday by The New Yorker, Tapper and Thompson revealed just how much pre-production went into getting Biden camera ready as the 2024 presidential campaign heated up — and the moment when everyone involved realized that it just wasn&#8217;t working.</p>
<p>Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg, who had been friends with Biden for decades, spearheaded high-dollar fundraisers — including a Radio City event that raked in $26 million — but he took on a different role as the 2024 presidential election loomed ever closer.</p>
<p>&#8220;As 2024 approached, he saw Biden’s communication struggles and thought he could help fix them. He worked on providing better lighting for Biden and trying to find a microphone that would amplify Biden when he would break into a whisper for emphasis,&#8221; Tapper and Thompson wrote — but Katzenberg didn&#8217;t stop there.</p>
<p>&#8220;Katzenberg also recruited his friend Steven Spielberg, who helped coach Biden for the State of the Union and his debates, even assisting with routine campaign videos. There was, however, only so much that Hollywood magic could do,&#8221; they continued.</p>
<p>The moment that shocked everyone, according to Tapper and Thompson, was Biden&#8217;s appearance at the Hollywood fundraiser hosted by actor George Clooney — and his apparent failure to immediately recognize his longtime friend and supporter.</p>
<blockquote><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">“You know George,” the assisting aide told the President, gently reminding him who was in front of him. “Yeah, yeah,” the President said to one of the most recognizable men in the world, the host of this lucrative fund-raiser. “Thank you for being here.”</span></p>
<p class="paywall">“Hi, Mr. President,” Clooney said.</p>
<p class="paywall">“How are ya?” the President replied.</p>
<p class="paywall">“How was your trip?” Clooney asked.</p>
<p class="paywall">“It was fine,” the President said.</p>
<p class="paywall">It seemed clear that the President had not recognized Clooney.</p>
<p class="paywall">“It was not O.K.,” recalled the Hollywood V.I.P. who had witnessed this moment. “That thing, the moment where you recognize someone you know—especially a famous person who’s doing a f***ing fund-raiser for you—it was delayed. It was uncomfortable.”</p>

<p class="paywall">Biden had to be reminded that the man standing in front of him was George Clooney, according to witnesses.</p>
<p class="paywall">&#8220;Clooney was shaken to his core. The President hadn’t recognized him, a man he had known for years. Clooney had expressed concern about Biden’s health before—a White House aide had told him a few months before that they were working on getting the President to take longer steps when he walked—but obviously the problem went far beyond his gait. This was much graver,&#8221; Tapper and Thompson wrote.</p>
<p>It was only a short time later that Clooney penned the open letter calling on Biden to exit the race.</p>
