Kavanaugh Accuser Swetnick’s Ex-Boyfriend Shreds Her Credibility In Interview

The ex-boyfriend of Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick gave his first television interview on Monday night about his ex-girlfriend, who he described as a liar who was “affectionate about lawsuits.”

Appearing on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” with host Laura Ingraham, Richard Vinneccy said that he was motivated to come forward and share his story because it was his “civic duty to do so.”

Vinneccy said that after he broke up with Swetnick, “she basically called me many times and at one point, she basically said, you will never, ever see your unborn child alive. And I’m just going to go over there, I’m going to kill you guys.”

“Did she ever discuss with you in your seven-year relationship, from 1994-2001, the issue of sexual assault, or did she mention ever having been sexually assaulted?” Ingraham asked.

“Never, never once she mentioned that to me,” Vinneccy replied. “We used to talk about just about everything, and she never once mentioned that at all.”

Regarding the allegations that Swetnick has made against Kavanaugh, which she has already started to walk back, Vinneccy said that she never brought up ever being sexually assaulted and that she is always “exaggerating” stories.

“I mean, the fact that she was lying to me, she talked — she pretty much talked about everybody,” Vinneccy said. “She talked about lawsuits. She was like, I don’t know, she was affectionate about lawsuits.”

“She was trying to — at one point, I remember she told me that she was filing a lawsuit against — harassment lawsuit against American Airlines,” Vinneccy continued. “And lawsuits — I mean, I finally decided, this thing, you know, you were going to have to stop this lawsuit thing because it’s ridiculous.”

Swetnick’s credibility has come under serious fire in recent days after multiple media reports highlighting her history of making multiple unsubstantiated sexual misconduct claims in the workplace. One of the employers involved says Swetnick falsified information on her application. Along with multiple misconduct claims, she filed a personal injury lawsuit in 1994 against the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority for $420,000 that was ultimately resolved out of court. In a report published Monday, AP provided evidence that Swetnick lied about a key claim in the suit.
