Katy Perry celebrated a sobriety milestone of five weeks sober this week after she made a no-alcohol “pact” with her fiancé Orlando Bloom.

During the 38-year-old pop singer’s appearance on Monday at a cocktail event in New York City, Perry revealed that she’s been wanting to quit alcohol, People magazine reported.

“I’ve been sober for five weeks today … I’ve been doing a pact with my partner [fiancé Orlando Bloom] and I want to quit,” Perry said when she was asked if she would be partaking in any of the cocktails provided for the evening.

Fellow “American Idol” judge Luke Bryan then playfully asked the “Fireworks” hitmaker if she was ready to break that pact.

“No, girl! I can’t cave,” Perry insisted. “I made a promise. Three months.”

The “Roar” hitmaker is embarking on her sobriety trek with the help of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, who has credited Perry with being his biggest cheerleader, Iheartradio.com noted.

“I think we support each other because we are fans of one another, you know what I mean?” Bloom told the outlet.

“What she does is so empowering for young musicians with everything with Idol,” he added. ” Then she can go and put on a powerhouse show in Vegas. We support, it’s who we are.”

“Katy’s a force and we both have these pools we swim in and we recognize each other’s pools and we go, ‘Hey, I’m over here. We’re doing this.’ And it’s great,” the actor continued.

Perry and Bloom made headlines when the couple announced they were engaged in 2019 after three years together. The following year, the pandemic sidelined the “Dark Horse” hitmaker’s plans to tie the knot in Japan, Page Six noted.

“It was very sweet,” Perry later said of the proposal during a “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” appearance. “It was Valentine’s Day … we went to dinner and I thought we were going to go see some art after dinner but we pulled up to a helicopter.”

“We landed on a rooftop [in Los Angeles] — my whole family was there, and all my friends,” she added. “He did so well.”

In August 2020, the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, Daisy Dove.

Bloom was previously married to model Miranda Kerr from 2010-2013, and the pair share a son. Perry and Russell Brand tied the knot in 2010 and divorced two years later.
