Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were seen holding hands at a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris in France, confirming their rumored status as a couple to many on social media.
They were celebrating Perry’s 41st birthday when they were spotted together on Saturday. Photos show the “I Kissed a Girl” singer wearing a form-fitting red dress while walking down the street with Trudeau, 53, who is clad all in black.
Rumors of the two having a romantic relationship date back to the summer, when Trudeau and Perry were seen together in Montreal. Then, earlier this month, images of the couple kissing on her yacht started circulating on social media, though they had been captured earlier in the summer.
“[Perry] pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out,” a witness reportedly told The Daily Mail about the encounter.
“I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau.”
Trudeau also attended a concert stop on Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour the following night with his teen daughter, per reports. Videos from the event show Trudeau smiling and singing along enthusiastically to “Firework,” “Roar,” and “Dark Horse,” as The Daily Wire previously reported.

“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,” the statement said at the time. 
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter [Daisy Dove] with love, stability, and mutual respect.”

The images were captured last month off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, but just recently went viral. The photos follow their sighting dining together in July at the restaurant Le Violon in Montreal.

A few days earlier, the pair were seen dining together at Le Violon, one of the city’s high-end restaurants, after walking Perry’s dog in the park.
“My take was they had a really good time, they came in…they were so polite, so nice,” said Chef Danny Smiles, owner of Le Violon, in an <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2025/07/29/katy-perry-justin-trudeau-no-pda-at-dinner/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with TMZ.
They ordered the chef’s tasting menu, which featured lobster, tuna, lamb gnocchi, and beef tartare.
Smiles said that when he walked up to the table, “it was a good vibe.” When asked to classify it as romantic or friendly, he equivocated: “I think it’s friendly but the restaurant’s a romantic setting. It’s hard to say.”
The 40-year-old pop singer announced she had broken up with Orlando Bloom after nine years together, earlier this month.

Katy Perry recently filed a temporary restraining order against a homeless man she says has visited her California home uninvited, per a report from <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2025/06/30/katy-perry-restraining-order-homeless-man-santa-barbara/">TMZ</a>.
The 40-year-old singer claims Ross Elliott Hedrick, 43, visited her Santa Barbara estate multiple times in May. TMZ reported that the first time Hedrick showed up on Perry’s property, he carried a butane lighter and an aerosol can. He was reportedly arrested but returned a week later. On his second visit, he allegedly threw a blanket over the security fence. The TRO also requests protection for Perry’s partner, actor Orlando Bloom. The news comes as rumors of the couple’s breakup are swirling.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Perry requested a court order for Hedrick to stay at least 100 yards away from her, Bloom, her properties, her job, and her car.
Perry’s security company reportedly believes Hedrick will continue attempting to make contact with the pop star and provided screenshots of Ring video showing Hedrick at her estate.

Katy Perry is addressing the extensive backlash she’s received in the wake of both her recent space flight and the kickoff of her latest “Lifetimes Tour,” which has been getting terrible reviews.
The 40-year-old singer didn’t specify which critics she was addressing when she posted her reaction to all the hate. “I’m so grateful for you guys. We’re in this beautiful and wild journey together. I can continue to remain true to myself, heart open and honest especially because of our bond,” Perry wrote in a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DJCPC7SOyjw/c/18499012462011832/?__coig_login=1">comment</a> on an Instagram fan page showcasing a billboard for her tour. 
“I love you guys and have grown up together with you and am so excited to see you all over the world this year! Please know I am ok, I have done a lot [of] work around knowing who I am, what is real and what is important to me,” she continued. 
“No one can make you believe something about yourself that you don’t already believe about yourself,” Perry added. “When the ‘online’ world tries to make me a human Piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, cause I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed.”
Perry said she’s been focusing on “what’s real,” which includes “seeing your faces every night, singing in unison, reading your notes, feeling your warmth. I find people to lock eyes and sing with and I know we are healing each other in a small way when I get to do that.”
The “Dark Horse” singer said she’s “not perfect” and has “omitted that word from my vocabulary.”

Fast food chain Wendy’s has not apologized for trolling pop singer Katy Perry for her space ride via its official X account, but it did say it “has a ton of respect for&#8221; her.
The six women who made up the all-female flight crew have been getting mixed reviews ever since they boarded Blue Origin’s NS-31 mission on Monday for an 11-minute ride. Perry, TV personality Gayle King, and Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sánchez were among the women who took the flight, which they and many media outlets insisted was of historic significance. 
But there’s also been pushback, with members of the public and some celebrities saying the space ride was nothing more than regular space tourism with a female-heavy roster. Wendy’s social media account got in on the jokes.
The X account Pop Crave announced on Monday, “Katy Perry has returned from space,” prompting the people running Wendy’s social media accounts to reply, “Can we send her back.”

Another post on Monday shared from the Wendy’s account said, “When we said women in stem this isn’t what we meant.”
The posts got a lot of laughs from followers and some criticism. One source who is “close to the situation” told <a href="https://people.com/katy-perry-deserves-apology-from-wendys-blue-origin-comments-exclusive-source-11717191?taid=68013ed1cbec1800016b41dd&amp;utm_campaign=peoplemagazine&amp;utm_content=new&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com">People</a> that Wendy’s should issue Perry an apology. “This wasn&#8217;t harmless banter, this was a billion-dollar brand using its platform to publicly demean a woman,” the source told the outlet, adding that &#8220;when billion-dollar brands join in, it’s irresponsible.&#8221;
Wendy’s responded, but not with an apology. People received a statement from the popular fast food brand saying: &#8220;We always bring a little spice to our socials, but Wendy’s has a ton of respect for Katy Perry and her out-of-this-world-talent.”
Perry hasn’t addressed any of the criticism publicly, but King responded to the haters, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/gayle-king-complains-its-disrespectful-sexist-to-call-8-minute-space-ride-a-ride">claiming</a> it was sexist and “disrespectful” to criticize them. 
“So I wish people would do more due diligence. And then my question is, have y’all been to space? Go to space or go to Blue Origin and see what they do … and then come back and say, ‘This is a terrible thing,&#8217;” King said in part. 
She continued, “You never see a man, a male astronaut, who’s going up in space and they say, ‘Oh, he took a ride.’ … It’s always referred to as a flight or a journey, so I feel that’s a little disrespectful to what the mission was and the work that Blue Origin does.”

Model Emily Ratajkowski is still bashing the all-female space crew that included celebrities who have been dominating the headlines after their 11-minute mission to space.
Pop singer Katy Perry, CBS anchor Gayle King, and Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sánchez were three of the women who flew to the edge of space on the Amazon founder’s Blue Origin spacecraft. Their flight is being touted as historic and important by many major outlets, but critics claim it’s nothing but average space tourism, which has been going on for decades. 
Ratajkowski made her feelings known during a TikTok <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@emrata/video/7493201498541772074">posted</a> Monday. 
“That space mission this morning, that’s end-time sh**. Like, this is beyond parody,” she said. “Saying that you care about Mother Earth, and it’s about Mother Earth, and going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that’s single-handedly destroying the planet? Look at the state of the world, and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space, and for what? For what, what was the marketing there? And then to try to make it like … I’m disgusted. Literally, I’m disgusted.”
The 33-year-old celebrity <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@emrata/video/7493531647028071726">followed up</a> with another social media video on Tuesday. “I think that this space mission is confusing to people because seeing women and people of color in spaces like science and politics that have not previously included them feels and looks like, really looks like — optically looks like — progress,” Ratajkowski, who identifies herself as a feminist, said. 
She continued, “But the truth is that having a man who has gained his power and become a part of the one percent purely through exploitation and greed deciding to take his fiancée and a few other famous women to space for space tourism is not progress.”
“It just speaks to the fact that we are absolutely living in an oligarchy, where there is a very small group of people who are interested in going to space for the sake of getting a new lease on life while the rest of the population — most people on Planet Earth — are worried about paying rent, or, you know, having dinner for their kids,” the model concluded.
She’s not the only one to question why so many are making such a big deal about the Blue Origin flight. Actress Olivia Munn<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/blue-origin-all-female-crew-including-katy-perry-launches-into-space"> said as much</a> on an episode of “Today with Jenna and Friends.”
“What’s the point? Is it historic that you guys are going on a ride? I think it’s a bit gluttonous,” Munn said. “Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?”

Pop singer Katie Perry, TV personality Gayle King, and several others were on board the first all-female flight to space in decades that blasted off and landed successfully on Monday morning.
The women on Blue Origin&#8217;s NS-31 mission took off from West Texas on a trip that lasted just over ten minutes. It was the first all-female space crew <a href="https://www.npr.org/2025/04/14/nx-s1-5364460/blue-origin-launch-female-space-flight-katy-perry">since</a> Soviet-era cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, who is also the first woman in space, orbited the Earth during a solo mission in 1963.
Besides Perry and King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and Lauren Sánchez, who is engaged to Blue Origin and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, comprised the NS-31 crew.
The flight briefly traveled above the Kármán Line, the internationally recognized boundary of space, about 62 miles above Earth&#8217;s surface.
Several famous faces were present at the launch event, including Perry’s daughter Daisy and her husband, actor Orlando Bloom. King’s best friend, Oprah Winfrey, showed up to watch, as did other celebs, including Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian.

The women did an <a href="https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a64341516/blue-origin-female-flight-crew-space-interview-2025/">interview</a> with Elle magazine before the launch during the first week of April. 
Perry insisted the event would be “glam,” while King said she was “terrified.” 
&#8220;I haven’t felt like this since childbirth, really,&#8221; said King.
The women have been getting some pushback from those asking the point of the mission. Actress Olivia Munn <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/olivia-munn-blasts-katy-perry-031544538.html">said as much</a> earlier this month on an episode of “Today with Jenna and Friends.”
“What’s the point? Is it historic that you guys are going on a ride? I think it’s a bit gluttonous,” Munn said. “Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?”
&#8220;No offense, but they&#8217;re passengers, not crew and it&#8217;s a flight, not a mission. They have zero controls over the ship, just sit there, then float for a few minutes, then return. The whole thing is like 15 minutes. It&#8217;s publicity, at best,&#8221; one commenter on X <a href="https://x.com/derekahunter/status/1911422259018822070">noted</a>.

Many others said there was nothing wrong with taking the flight if the people on board had the means and the interest.

Katy Perry has weighed in on the wild internet conspiracy theory — which has circulated for years — claiming that JonBenet Ramsey was never killed and actually grew up to be the superstar singer.
The 40-year-old singer reacted to a post on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DGmjo_vswWw/?hl=en">Instagram</a> that was created by Artificial Intelligence and claimed to show the time-lapse growth of Ramsey into Perry, the <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/03/24/entertainment/katy-perry-reacts-to-conspiracy-that-shes-jonbenet-ramsey/">New York Post</a> reported. Ramsey was the beauty queen who was murdered in her home in Colorado in 1996 when she was just 6 years old.
The person captioned the post, “iykyk. (if you know you know) and the video included Perry’s song “Wide Awake.” 
The “Fireworks” star somehow saw the post and responded, “wait am I.” It has more than 5,000 comments and hundreds of replies at the time of this publication.
The comments definitely got a lot of attention.

“The fact that Katy Perry actually commented makes this even better,” one person wrote.
Another added, “I’ve always known these are the same person.”
While a third person wrote, “Show us [your] birth certificate sis.”
And while some people found Perry’s response amusing, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DGmjo_vswWw/?hl=en">others</a> were pretty upset at the joke about the murder of a child that still remains unsolved in 2025.
“Please stop. Don’t disrespect that little girl like this,&#8221; one person replied.
Another added, “This is a real child, daughter, and sister whose life was taken from her. This is so disrespectful to the family. I hope they find the animal who did this and some peace for the family.&#8221;
And a third person wrote, “This is bull. Quit dishonoring this little girl&#8217;s memory.”
There have been numerous theories as to what happened to JonBenet, including the one involving Perry. But as the Post noted, there are quite a few problems with this one theory — namely the fact that the superstar singer is 40 years old and JonBenet would only be 35 if she was alive.
JonBenet&#8217;s death shocked the nation on December 26, 1996, after her mother called police to report the young beauty queen missing, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jonbenet-ramseys-father-wants-new-investigation-into-daughters-death-gov-polis-responds">reported</a>. Patsy Ramsey called police after finding a ransom note demanding $118,000 for the safe return of her daughter. JonBenet’s father, John Ramsey, found the little girl’s body in the basement later that day.
For years, the Ramseys were suspected of killing their daughter until they were “completely cleared” in 2008 by DNA testing.

Blue Origin’s next mission to space will be solely composed of women, including multiple celebrities.
CBS News journalist Gayle King, recording artist Katy Perry, and pilot Lauren Sánchez, who is engaged to Amazon founder and Blue Origin owner Jeff Bezos, will be part of the six person crew. Bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen will also be part of the group, along with former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe film producer Kerianne Flynn.
King <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRx-WG2BCLo">reacted</a> to the announcement this morning, telling her co-hosts that she’s “so afraid,” but also &#8220;so excited about it.&#8221;
She went on to say she never dreamed of going to space, but eventually her kids and her friend Oprah Winfrey helped change her mind. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know how to explain being terrified and excited at the same time,&#8221; King said of the upcoming mission. &#8220;It&#8217;s like how I felt about to deliver a baby.&#8221;
The <a href="https://www.blueorigin.com/news/new-shepard-ns-31-mission">announcement</a> on the company’s webpage noted that Sánchez “is honored to lead a team of explorers on a mission that will challenge their perspectives of Earth, empower them to share their own stories, and create lasting impact that will inspire generations to come.”
&#8220;This mission will be the 11th human flight for the New Shepard program and the 31st in its history,&#8221; Blue Origin stated. &#8220;To date, the program has flown 52 people above the Kármán line, the internationally recognized boundary of space. This is the first all-female flight crew since Valentina Tereshkova’s solo spaceflight in 1963.&#8221;
Blue Origin did not yet announce the date of the flight.
Reactions on social media have been mixed, with many questioning Kate Perry being added to the flight crew especially.

“lauren sanchez&#8217;s space suit gonna be interesting,” a third person commented, referencing the revealing outfit Sanchez wore to President Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
