“The View” cohost Joy Behar suggested on Wednesday that despite her failure to walk away with the New Hampshire primary, former Governor Nikki Haley (R-SC) might simply be staying in the 2024 presidential race in case something happens to the frontrunner — former President Donald Trump.
Behar made the comments in response to cohost Whoopi Goldberg, who asked why Haley would stay in the race after a second consecutive double-digit loss — first in the Iowa caucuses, and then in the New Hampshire primary — to Trump.

Staunchly racist Sunny Hostin praises faux-conservative Ana Navarro. She claims Navarro "remained a Republican and she started stumping for Joe Biden." She says the real Republicans "have to" vote for Biden.

“I need you guys to tell me why she thinks there’s a path forward,” Goldberg began. “Because she’s not removing herself, so I’m curious what your thought is.”
Several of the cohosts began talking at once, but Behar came out on top. “Well, in the words of Lawrence O’Donnell, ‘maybe he’ll choke on a cheeseburger,'” she said, prompting laughs around the table and in the audience.
Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin, who has said from the beginning that she would prefer to see Haley with the Republican primary, said that she was glad to see the South Carolina Republican remain in the race, at least for the time being.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with continuing to fight,” she said. “She was a two-term governor of South Carolina. I see the math as very hard because Trump has kind of set up the primary so it favors him. Nevada, he changed the rules so that — it favors him. All the Super Tuesday states are winner-take-all, that favors him.”
“It’s tough,” Griffin continued. “I like that she’s fighting because there’s currently two people standing between Donald Trump and the White House: Nikki Haley and Joe Biden. And that is scary.”
Cohost Sunny Hostin followed that up with praise for longtime cohost Ana Navarro — who says that she is a Republican despite her staunch opposition to most of the Republicans currently in office.
Hostin noted that Navarro had pushed for Biden when he ran against Trump, and went on to argue that all “real Republicans” needed to vote for Biden. Griffin appeared to be open to the idea.
“I’m going to listen to Joe Biden. I’m going to hear what he has to say,” she said.
