The decade's most triggering comedy
The “Avengers” star shared the news via his Instagram page. “We are so very excited to share the #rennervations show with you all on @disneyplus coming very soon!!!” the post said. “As soon as I’m back on my feet, we are coming to YOU, all across the globe… I hope you’re ready !!!”
Renner was involved in a serious accident involving a snow plow outside of his home in Nevada on New Year’s Day and has been in recovery ever since. The 52-year-old used his PistenBully snowcat to pull his nephew’s truck out of his driveway but then jumped into action when the snowplow began “sliding sideways” and then “began to roll down the hill” in the direction of his nephew. He attempted to intervene, which resulted in him getting crushed underneath the 14,330-pound machine.
“I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness,” Renner said in a photo update posted in late January. “Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens.”
The Marvel star announced last month that he was home from the hospital and still recovering.
Now fans are excited to learn that Renner is feeling well enough to promote the new feel-good series that focuses on giving back. “Rennervations” aims to help others by “reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.”
“Behind the big screen, Jeremy is a construction aficionado, and he is heavily invested in the highly creative fabricator culture that exists across the globe and hopes to change lives with these skills and inspire others to do the same,” the description says.
Renner had previously shared a sneak clip of the new Disney+ series on his Instagram page. “There’s no better way to kick off the new year than giving back to those who need it most! Don’t miss #Rennervations, coming soon to @disneyplus,” he wrote in the caption at the time.
“Rennervations” was originally scheduled to debut in early 2023. There are no updated details on the launch date.
