A new report from <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/if-it-feels-like-lgbtq-characters-are-everywhere-on-tv-glaad-just-confirmed-it" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GLAAD</a> (Gay &amp; Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) claimed that there’s been a decrease in what it labeled LGBTQ representation in films, down from a high the previous year.
According to the advocacy group’s <a href="https://glaad.org/sri/2024/">2024 Studio Responsibility Index</a>, the study — which tracks the “quantity, quality and diversity” of LGBTQ characters in movies — found that of these 256 films in 2023, 70 contained an LGBTQ character. The report bemoaned that this was down from the 100 LGBTQ characters that appeared in 350 movies the organization tracked in 2022.
It looked at the movies from the ten major studios, listed as Netflix, The Walt Disney Studios, A24, Amazon Studios, Warner Bros. Discover, Apple TV+, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Paramount Global, Sony, and their subsidiaries, GLAAD noted.

The report analyzed how each of these studios did representing the LGBTQ community and the results are pretty shocking. Despite having numerous films that fit this criteria, GLAAD gave most an “insufficient” or “fair” rating.
For example, Walt Disney, who it said produced 14 “LGBTQ-inclusive” films out of 37, was given an “insufficient” score. A24 created 5 “LGBTQ-inclusive” films out of just 16 movies, and also was considered “insufficient.”
In one section of the report, the organization bemoaned the fact that there hadn’t been enough LGBTQ characters in kids/family entertainment, writing that “the overall lack of representation in the kids and family genre is disappointing.”
“Last year, GLAAD called for more representation in this area, and rather than stepping up, studios told even fewer LGBTQ stories in kids and family films this year,” it added.
Earlier this year, The “Where We Are on TV” report from GLAAD noted that 468 LGBT characters appeared on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/television">TV shows</a> last year compared to 596 the previous year, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lgbt-character-representation-on-tv-decreases-again-per-glaad-report">reported</a>. It found that 36% of those characters would not be returning for the upcoming season.
GLAAD reported 39 LGBT regulars on 64 primetime series, representing a decrease of 44% (31 characters) compared to the previous year. However, this reduction could be partly due to fewer primetime shows across the spectrum.
On cable, the watchdog organization noted 77 LGBT characters, a 45% drop from last year. Those 77 will be further reduced next year as 38 will leave due to canceled shows or characters dying or being written off. 
Despite recent decreases, LGBTQ representation has definitely increased since the first <a href="https://glaad.org/sri/2013/">Studio Responsibility Index</a> report in 2013. At that time, 14 films out of the 101 it looked at from major studios in the 2012 calendar year, “contained characters identified as lesbian, gay or bisexual. There were no films containing transgender characters.&#8221;

The much-hyped Disney+ series “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/television">Agatha All Along</a>” is “the gayest project Marvel has ever done,” according to one of its stars.
Actress Sasheer Zamata confirmed that description was accurate when asked by a reporter while walking the red carpet in a video posted by Variety on Monday. She agreed with that assessment, saying, “I think witches are queer inherently just because we are outcasts and like, set aside for many reasons.”
She continued, “I think this show shows a really good representation of different types of people and that we can all use the power we have within to like, go forth and be great.”

“Agatha All Along” is the follow-up to Marvel’s “WandaVision” miniseries, which debuted in 2021. The new iteration follows the character Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), who was revealed to be a powerful sorceress.

The show is being touted for “representation” just weeks after the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/disney-cancels-star-wars-series-the-acolyte-season-2">cancellation</a> of Disney’s series “The Acolyte,” which was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-acolyte-showrunner-says-shes-so-into-series-being-called-the-gayest-star-wars-calls-r2-d2-a-lesbian">described</a> as “the gayest ‘Star Wars’ yet.” Showrunner Leslye Headland bragged about how “The Acolyte” was “coded queer” and how she intended “to allow her own personal experiences as a queer woman shine through in the finished product.”
After disappointing viewership, the “Star Wars” show was not renewed for a second season.
“Agatha” star Zamata recently came out as a lesbian. “I’m out in my life and I do keep my personal life kind of private, but I also don’t necessarily want my identity to be private,” the “SNL” alum said during an interview for “Them” magazine that was published earlier this month. “I guess I’m one of those late-in-life lesbians. I just feel very comfortable and confident in my life.”
“Agatha All Along,” premieres its first two episodes on Disney+ on September 18.

DirecTV has rejected an offer from Disney that would’ve allowed for only three hours of coverage of the ABC Presidential debate between former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a> and Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kamala-harris">Kamala Harris</a> for blacked-out satellite customers amid its ongoing contract dispute with the satellite provider.
A statement on Tuesday from DirecTV to <a href="https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/directv-rejects-disney-offer-kamala-harris-donald-trump-debate-1236139895/">Variety</a> read, “Unfortunately, returning only Disney’s ABC stations from the entire portfolio of channels for a limited 3-hour window will cause customer confusion among those who would briefly see the debate only to lose the channel again shortly after.”
DirecTV said it had agreed to allow ABC to restore service for the ABC News presidential debate if Disney would &#8220;restore all the channels across its platforms through the end of &#8216;Monday Night Football&#8217; at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 17.”
“Returning the Disney-owned channels for the next week while we work to reach a new agreement would benefit customers who would regain access to ABC for the debate and the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 16 as well as their favorite college and professional football games on ABC and ESPN, ACC or SEC networks,” DirecTV said.

However, “The Walt Disney Co. flat-out rejected DirecTV’s offer,” according to the satellite provider, Variety reported.
In an earlier statement obtained by The Daily Wire on Tuesday, a Disney spokesperson said that it would provide coverage of the three-hour debate where it would be available “widely across broadcast, cable and streaming.”
“Although we have yet to reach an agreement, we are providing a three-hour feed of ABC News coverage to all impacted DirecTV customers at no cost because we want all Americans to be able to view tonight’s debate at this important moment in our history,” the statement read. 
“We remain at the table negotiating with DirecTV and the restoration of our programming to their subscribers is completely within their control,” the statement from the Disney spokesperson added.

The announcement follows a report last week that more than 11 million DirecTV subscribers nationwide might not see the debate on their ABC News channel after it went dark on September 1 as the Walt Disney Company and the satellite subscription company remain in a carriage dispute, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/millions-might-not-see-trump-kamala-debate-due-to-ongoing-contract-dispute">reported</a>.
The existing contract expired on Sept. 1 with the news channel and dozens of others, like ESPN, FX, and Disney Jr going dark — with no current negotiations underway, a source told the outlet.
ABC News is scheduled to host what will likely be the one and only debate between Trump and Harris on Tuesday.

ABC News is scheduled to host what will likely be the one and only debate between Trump and Harris on September 10th, and that is only 5 days away.
DirecTV CEO Ray Carpenter has suggested that their contract disputes will not be taken care of when the first Monday Night Football game of the 2024 season kicks off on Monday, September 9, where it will air on <a href="https://www.cabletv.com/sports/watch-monday-night-football">ABC and ESPN channels</a>, the outlet noted.
“We’re not playing a short-term game,” Carpenter said during a September 3 Wall Street conference call of DirecTV’s desire to end the “bloated” packages that are reportedly causing subscribers to leave. 
“We need something that is going to work for the long-term sustainability of our video customers,” he added. “The resolve is there”
A Hollywood political operative told the outlet of the blackout and the upcoming debate, “That’s the law of unintended consequences.”
“<a href="https://deadline.com/tag/dana-walden/">Dana Walden</a> may be Harris’ pal, (Bob) Iger may want to mend some Republican fences, so what?” he added of the head of Disney Entertainment.
“This is an existential threat to their business as linear TV fall is dying,” he continued. “I say it&#8217;s 50/50 if they can make a deal by the time of the debate, and I doubt it’s a big factor in getting to that deal.”
And while DirecTV subscribers won’t be able to catch the debate on ABC, if a customer has Disney+, Hulu, or ABC News Live they will be able to see Trump and Harris spar, as it will be streamed in real time, the outlet noted.

A counter-petition to permanently bury the “Star Wars” series “The Acolyte” from the franchise is growing in numbers after fans of the series by showrunner Leslye Headland — who promised it would be infused with LGBTQ themes — started a Change.org petition to get it renewed.
Started on August 22 on <a href="https://www.change.org/p/help-de-canonize-the-acolyte">Change.org</a>, “Star Wars” fans began a petition called “Help De-canonize The Acolyte,&#8221; <a href="https://redstate.com/brandon_morse/2024/09/03/the-drama-around-the-canceled-woke-star-wars-show-the-acolyte-just-got-more-hilarious-n2178858">Red State</a> reported. It came after a <a href="https://www.change.org/p/renew-the-acolyte">petition</a> began calling for signatures to save the female-centric, sith-focused series following reports that Disney+ had canceled the series after one season — amid low ratings and lackluster reviews — as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/disney-cancels-star-wars-series-the-acolyte-season-2">reported</a>. 
“Like so many fans of Star Wars, I found the show ‘The Acolyte’ absolutely frustrating,” a description for the counter-petition read. “For some it might’ve been the abysmal writing, the ever-changing character motivations, or the awkward cinematography and strange jump cuts.”

“The show was completely misdirected,” it added. “For others could be the multiple ways the show breaks canon,  jangles keys of established characters damaging them in the future or the way the show makes the prophecy of the chosen one completely insignificant.”

The counter-petition earned “more signatures in its first day,” than the original one to save the series did in its first day. The counter petition currently has more than 16,000 signatures, Red State noted. The renewal petition has more than 65,000 signatures.
Lucasfilm reportedly opted out of having a second season for the series, sources previously told <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/08/the-acolyte-canceled-no-season-2-star-wars-disney-plus-1236044233/">Deadline</a>.  The eight-part series launched on June 4 after scoring numerous glowing headlines that helped it land a strong opening with 4.8 million views in its first day on the streamer with its first two episodes. 
However, it struggled with <a href="https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/star_wars_the_acolyte/s01/reviews">luke-warm reviews</a> and poor ratings, falling out of the top 10 by the third week, the outlet noted. The series remained there until the finale, when it finally cracked into the 10th spot, with 335 million minutes, something that is believed to be the lowest ever for a “Star Wars” series finale, the outlet noted.
Before the series aired, Headland announced that the show would be “coded queer.” The showrunner told <a href="https://www.advocate.com/film/2021/7/01/lesbian-leslye-headland-brings-queer-lens-star-wars-franchise">The Advocate in 2021</a> that her goal was “to allow her own personal experiences as a queer woman shine through in the finished product.”
“There’s just no way that me being a queer woman is not going to be reflected in my work. I could try not to do it, but why would I? It just feels like a natural extension of what I do,” she said at the time.

She continued, “Of course, I live in the bubble of my own reality, but for those who aren’t aware, there has been a rampage of vitriol that we have faced since the show was even announced, when it was still just a concept and no one had even seen it. That’s when we started experiencing a rampage of hyper-conservative bigotry and vitriol, prejudice, hatred, and hateful language towards us.”
The actress said, “And, you know, this really affected me when I first got the job because it’s just not something, even though I anticipated it happening, it’s not something you can fully understand what it feels like until it’s happening to you.”
Stenberg went on to describe how she “moved through” these feelings and ultimately felt a sense of gratitude for having worked on the project. The “Acolyte” star finally thanked her supporters. 
“And I just want to let those people know out there who supported us in that way, and supported us vocally in the face of all of the vitriol that we received, and the kind of the targeted attack I would say we received by the alt-right, just that you were deeply loved and appreciated, and it made this job all the worthwhile for me,” she concluded.
It was announced on August 19 that the series would not be renewed for a second season amid low ratings and lackluster reviews, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/disney-cancels-star-wars-series-the-acolyte-season-2">reported</a>.

A <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/director-strategic-external-engagement-enterprise-dei-at-the-walt-disney-company-4001422945?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F">job posting</a> from the Walt Disney Company for a DEI director role advertises a minimum salary of $197,700 and a maximum salary of $241,500. The <a href="https://www.forbes.com/advisor/business/average-salary-by-state/">average</a> American salary in 2024 is $59,428 annually.
“We&#8217;re seeking a Director of Strategic External Engagement &#8211; Enterprise DEI to lead our efforts in building strategic relationships with external stakeholders, driving community engagement, and generating valuable insights to support our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) objectives,” the job description reads.
The new director will be tasked with advancing the company&#8217;s left-wing program, and be required to “lead initiatives focused on specific dimensions of diversity,” and “amplify DEI content and communicate progress.”

The DEI agenda has come under criticism from consumer protection professionals who say that the ideology is both immoral and unprofitable.

Disney has a history of pushing the far-left DEI ideology. A series of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/undercover-okeefe-video-disney-vp-says-the-company-discriminates-against-white-men">undercover investigations</a> from the O’Keefe Media Group revealed that the company could be engaging in anti-white, anti-male discrimination and is aggressively pushing the transgender agenda. Video shows a former Disney senior vice president saying he has been passed over for promotions because he was a white male.
“I have friends in HR and I have friends in other divisions. And they’re like, ‘Look, nobody else is going to tell you this, Mike, but they’re not considering any white males for the job,&#8217;” former senior vice president Michael Giordano said on camera to an undercover journalist.
Another <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-disney-pressures-employees-to-support-sex-change-attempts-undercover-report-finds">investigation</a> from the O’Keefe Media Group found that Disney pushes the transgender agenda on its employees and even compels them to encourage their coworkers’ transition attempts.
It also revealed that employees organized a “global employee collective” called the “Disney Pride Think Tank” that sought to “advance LGBTQ+ representation in our content, products, experiences, and services.”
While Disney has doubled down on its DEI program, other large corporations are retreating from the left-wing agenda amid public backlash. Harley-Davidson recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/harley-davidson-becomes-latest-company-to-back-away-from-dei-policies">announced</a> that it would ditch its DEI practices, as have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tractor-supply-reverses-course-backs-out-of-woke-initiatives-following-conservative-backlash">Tractor Supply</a> and <a href="https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/business/2024/08/26/lowes-scraps-some-dei-programs-as-activist-claims-another-win/">Lowe’s.</a>
According to Hild, companies like Disney refuse to abandon DEI in the face of opposition because &#8220;a narrow circle of Ivy League-educated Human Resources managers&#8221; who staff these companies is captivated by &#8220;wokeness.&#8221; He also noted that consumers can push corporations away from DEI.
&#8220;Consumers shouldn&#8217;t underestimate the importance of contacting the companies to express their disapproval, and criticizing or mocking them on social media.&#8221;

After intense public backlash, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/disney">Disney</a> backtracked and decided to allow a wrongful death <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lawsuit">lawsuit</a> to go to court after insisting on arbitration because the widower had agreed to Disney+ terms of service when signing up for the streaming platform.
The family of a 42-year-old New York woman is suing the company after Dr. Kanokporn Tangsuan experienced a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/death">fatal</a> allergic reaction after eating at an Irish pub at a Disneyworld restaurant in Florida last October.
Disney has been under fire ever since news broke that it demanded third-party arbitration due to the plaintiff, widower Jeffrey Piccolo, agreeing to the Disney+ terms of service agreement five years ago. Piccolo filed a $50,000 lawsuit in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/florida">Florida</a> alleging that Tangsuan, his wife, died from an allergic reaction at a resort restaurant in October 2023. 
In a statement Tuesday, Disney said it had &#8220;decided to waive our right to arbitration and have the matter proceed in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/courts">court</a>.&#8221;

The statement said, &#8220;At Disney, we strive to put humanity above all other considerations. With such unique circumstances as the ones in this case, we believe this situation warrants a sensitive approach to expedite a resolution for the family who have experienced such a painful loss.&#8221;
Previously, lawyers representing the entertainment company argued that Piccolo agreeing to the Disney+ terms in 2019 meant he was only entitled to arbitration and not a court appearance. 
Disney’s initial response to the complaint was that it wasn’t liable for Tangsuan’s death because it only served as a tenant for the restaurant, per <a href="https://www.reuters.com/legal/disney-agrees-have-florida-wrongful-death-lawsuit-decided-court-2024-08-20/">Reuters</a>. The company lawyers followed that with the arbitration argument in late May.
Lawyers for Piccolo called the motion to dismiss “absurd.”

“The notion that terms agreed to by a consumer when creating a Disney+ free trial account would forever bar that consumer’s right to a jury trial in any dispute with any Disney affiliate or subsidiary, is so outrageously unreasonable and unfair as to shock the judicial conscience, and this court should not enforce such an agreement,” Piccolo’s attorney Brian Denney <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/08/13/us-news/disney-wants-allergy-death-suit-tossed-because-of-disney-subscription/">said</a>, per the New York Post. 
Piccolo, his mother, and Tangsuan ate at the Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant because it was advertised as having “proper safeguards to protect patrons” with food allergies, per the lawsuit. Tangsuan advised the waiter that she was highly allergic to nuts and dairy products and was “guaranteed” that the food was free from allergens, as indicated on the menu. 
Tangsuan began having difficulty breathing about 45 minutes after consuming the meal. She collapsed and died at a hospital despite self-administering an EpiPen.
The medical examiner concluded that Tangsuan died by “anaphylaxis due to elevated levels of dairy and nut in her system,” per the lawsuit.

Disney+ has reportedly canceled the “Star Wars” series “Acolyte&#8221; created by showrunner Leslye Headland — who promised it would be infused with LGBTQ themes — after only one season amid low ratings.
Lucasfilm has opted out of having a second season for the female-centric, Sith-focused series, sources told <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/08/the-acolyte-canceled-no-season-2-star-wars-disney-plus-1236044233/">Deadline</a>.  The eight-part series launched on June 4 after scoring numerous glowing headlines that helped it land a strong opening with 4.8 million views in its first day on the streamer with its first two episodes. 
However, it struggled with <a href="https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/star_wars_the_acolyte/s01/reviews" target="_blank" rel="noopener">luke-warm reviews</a> and poor ratings, falling out of the top 10 by the third week, the outlet noted. The series remained there until the finale, when it finally cracked into the 10th spot, with 335 million minutes, something that is believed to be the lowest ever for a “Star Wars” series finale, the outlet noted.

“I think you’re seeing the Jedi when they are this very, very large institution – a benevolent one – but they are closer to who they are in the ‘Phantom Menace’ than obviously in the Original Trilogy where you feel like they’re almost extinct,” the director added.
“In a weird way, in the ‘Phantom Menace’ and the Prequel Trilogy, the Jedi outnumber the Sith,” Headland continued. “And then in the Original Trilogy, the Empire outnumber the Jedi, which is why a show based on the ‘bad guys’ is interesting to me. Before the series aired, Headland’s said that her “Star Wars” series would be “coded queer” like the animated children’s movie “Frozen,” as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-acolyte-showrunner-says-shes-so-into-series-being-called-the-gayest-star-wars-calls-r2-d2-a-lesbian">reported</a>.
“When I saw Frozen as a grown a** woman, I cried through the entire movie,” she said at the time. “There was just something about the relationship between the sisters, the like devillainization of the classic kind of fairy tale ‘bad guy,’ you know, the concept of true love being between two sisters and not a heterosexual relationship. It just destroyed me, completely.”
She continued, “And I thought, ‘Gosh, I would love to make something like this, for lack of a better term, Disney.’ Meaning something that like my parents would have allowed me to see when I was younger as a queer person, but I would have been able to understand as a queer person. And I think I would have had a completely different life. And so I really was inspired by it and was like, ‘God, I would love to make a story like this.’”

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/disney">Disney</a> is attempting to get a wrongful death <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lawsuit">lawsuit</a> tossed out of court and settled in arbitration because the widower agreed to the Disney+ terms of service years ago.
The family of a 42-year-old New York woman is suing the company after Dr. Kanokporn Tangsuan experienced a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/death">fatal</a> allergic reaction after eating at an Irish pub at a Disneyworld restaurant in Florida last October. But now Disney requested that Florida courts toss the case because the plaintiff, widower Jeffrey Piccolo, had signed up for Disney&#8217;s streaming service agreeing to decide any disputes with the company through third-party arbitration, per <a href="https://lawandcrime.com/lawsuit/borders-on-the-absurd-dead-womans-estate-rejects-disneys-claim-that-widowers-disney-membership-means-wrongful-death-lawsuit-must-be-arbitrated/">Law &amp; Crime</a>.
“The Terms of Use, which were provided with the Subscriber Agreement, include a binding arbitration clause,” the company wrote in the motion to dismiss. “The first page of the Subscriber Agreement states, in all capital letters, that ‘any dispute between You and Us, Except for Small Claims, is subject to a class action waiver and must be resolved by individual binding arbitration.’”
Lawyers for Piccolo called the motion “absurd,” arguing that the plaintiff agreeing to the Disney+ terms of service in 2019 should not mean he waived the right to sue the company for all matters unrelated to the streaming platform.
“The notion that terms agreed to by a consumer when creating a Disney+ free trial account would forever bar that consumer’s right to a jury trial in any dispute with any Disney affiliate or subsidiary, is so outrageously unreasonable and unfair as to shock the judicial conscience, and this court should not enforce such an agreement,” Piccolo’s attorney Brian Denney <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/disney-wrongful-death-suit-disney-plus-1235975350/">wrote</a>.

“There is simply no reading of the Disney+ Subscriber Agreement, the only Agreement Mr. Piccolo allegedly assented to in creating his Disney+ account, which would support the notion that he was agreeing on behalf of his wife or her estate, to arbitrate injuries sustained by his wife at a restaurant located on premises owned by a Disney theme park or resort from which she died,” the motion says. “Frankly, any such suggestion borders on the absurd.”
Company lawyers said that Piccolo&#8217;s use of the Disney website to buy Epcot Center tickets further protected Disney from going to court due to similar terms of service agreements that would require arbitration for all disputes.

Disney Tries To Toss Wrongful Death Suit Because Widower Agreed To Disney+ Terms Of Service

Speaking to <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/demi-lovato-interview-child-star-documentary-1235973228/">The Hollywood Reporter</a>, the 31-year-old actress who was a staple of Disney Channel shows for kids growing up in the 2000’s said if her daughter ever came to her and expressed an interest in following in her footsteps into acting/music, she’d tell her to wait until she&#8217;s older.
“I’d say, ‘Let’s study music theory and prepare you for the day you turn 18, because it’s not happening before that,’” Lovato told the outlet.
“Not because I don’t believe in you or love you or want you to be happy, but because I want you to have a childhood, the childhood that I didn’t have,” she added.
“‘And also, let’s come up with a backup plan,’ which is something I wish I’d done because sometimes I think it’s time for me to move on, but I’m in this weird position in my career because I still rely on music for my income,” Lovato continued.

The “Camp Rock” star also talked about her new project, which she said was designed to be a cautionary tale for families interested in pursuing fame for their kids.
“Having the child be the breadwinner almost inherently changes the dynamic of a family, and then it becomes, like, how do you discipline that breadwinner?” Lovato said.
“I mean, they’d [mom and stepdad] try to ground me, but I was an egotistical child star, and I thought I was on top of the world. I’d be like, ‘But I pay the bills,’ and what do you say to that?”

Lovato later took issue with how former President of Disney Channels Worldwide, Gary Marsh, characterized the company’s responsibility when it comes to young talent, saying in a 2012 interview, “At the end of the day, it’s the parents who really have to be parents … the network is not responsible for raising their children.”
The actress disagreed and said after she left, she learned that the company had “hired a life coach with whom she was working [with] at the time,” which she said would’ve been helpful for her own family.
“I just think leaving it up to the families is really risky,” Lovato said. “Because not everyone has a healthy family dynamic, and you’re putting them in a pressure cooker.”

An internal program at the Walt Disney Company, called “Authentically Me: Gender Expression and Transitioning,” compels employees to accept and encourage their coworkers’ sex change attempts.

“If you’re looking to support a colleague who’s transitioning, listen to what they’re asking of you and show in your actions that you’ve heard them,” one employee says in the video.
“One way to be a good ally to your transgender and non-binary cast members is to use the pronoun and name they have given you,” another employee says. “It&#8217;s important to be humble because you&#8217;re going to mess up, everybody messes up, and what’s important is what you do next,” an employee sporting a bright pink mohawk said. Another person said, “I invite you to be our allies. You don’t have to be LGBTQIA+ to hold our hands.”
The undercover investigation also reveals that employees organized a Disney Pride Think Tank, a “global employee collective” that seeks to “advance LGBTQ+ representation in our content, products, experiences, and services.” The internal organization is divided into the marketplace committee and the creative content review committee, both of which work to further embed the LGBT agenda within the company.
Disney’s support for the transgender agenda is not just rhetorical, however. The company’s health care plan covers surgeries that remove healthy body parts in order to facilitate a sex change attempt.

“I want to remind the viewers that Disney makes a majority of its sales from theme park attendance and film and television viewership,” James O’Keefe noted. “If you’re a Disney customer and/or shareholder, you’ve probably been shielded to the fact that your money is being used to pay for medical plans that actually promote trans genital mutilation surgery for their employees. … Why is Disney using your money to chop off, or building on additions to their genitals?”
The revelations come after an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/undercover-okeefe-video-disney-vp-says-the-company-discriminates-against-white-men">earlier investigation</a> from O’Keefe Media found that Disney discriminates against white men, according to a vice president at the company whose statements were caught on camera by an undercover journalist.
