The Southern Commander of ZAKA, an Israeli search and rescue organization that specializes in recovering the bodies of victims of terrorist attacks, trying to recover as many body parts as they can for proper burial, revealed the horrific scene of a couple and their two young children having been tortured in front of each other by Hamas before they were shot and killed.
Yossi Landau, who has worked with his organization for 33 years and visited the scenes of terrorist attacks, including reportedly helping after the 9/11 attacks, said, “We went in. The first house we saw were the couple, father and mother, sitting there on their knees on the floor. They were on their knees. Now they were head down, hands tied to the back. On the other side of the dining room was a 7-year-old boy and a girl, I would say about 6-years-old, sitting just against the parents, hands tied to the back, same position. The bodies were tortured.”
“While now, start using that imagination,” he continued. “Who was tortured before [the others]? Who saw if this was, this was on purpose? If this was the children looking at the parents being tortured? The parents seeing? And when I say tortured, I would say missing body pieces. An eye. Just taken out, an eye. One eye. Fingers being, fingers being,” he made a chopping motion with his hand to indicate fingers being cut off.
“All this happened, and by the end they all had a bullet,” he said.
He told CNN the parents and the children had bullet holes in the back of their heads.
“And — still not finished: In the middle there’s a table,” he said. “Those terrorists were sitting and eating their [the family’s Sabbath] meal that was prepared for this family. They just took it; they ate this meal while torturing these children.”

“They came in for killing, just for killing, and brutality, and taking pregnant women,” Landau told Fox News, recalling another instance of Hamas atrocities. “I’ll say, even though it’s very hard for me, I saw when I was there, a pregnant woman was lying on the floor. We turned her over. Her stomach was butchered open. She had the baby, the infant, the unborn infant, still connected with the cord, stabbed as she was shot in the back.”
