A Florida woman carrying a bag of cocaine in her bra while driving under the influence with nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol in her system was arrested Saturday, according to authorities.
Tiffany Lynn Novak, 33, of Pinellas Park, Florida, swerved between lanes Saturday night before Largo Police Department officers pulled her over, according to an arrest report observed by WJTV 12.
When authorities approached a glassy-eyed Novak, they noticed “numerous signs of impairment” that included slurred speech and a stench of alcohol that would grow stronger while she spoke to them.
Novak denied having anything to drink to authorities, but the two breath samples provided at 0.225 and 0.232 in the sobriety tests showed otherwise.
Authorities said a small bag with “trace amounts” of a white powder substance was found inside her bra and stuck to her left breast.
Novak denied knowing the substance was there and claimed it wasn’t hers.
“When I told her that it was literally stuck to her skin, she stated that it was not hers and that a friend gave it to her to hold,” the affidavit stated according to WFLA News Channel 8.
Authorities booked Novak into the Pinellas County Jail on charges of driving under the influence with a BAC over 0.15 and possession of cocaine.
WFLA News Channel 8 reports that Novak is also awaiting an aggravated battery charge trial.
