Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro revealed a rare point of agreement with rapper <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/cardi-b" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cardi B</a> on Wednesday after a drink was thrown at her during a performance in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/las-vegas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Las Vegas</a> over the weekend. 
Shapiro said that Cardi B, with whom the Daily Wire co-founder <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9FM49Tzhn4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">frequently</a> disagrees, was justified in responding to a drink being thrown at her by throwing her microphone back. 
“Typically when you go to somebody&#8217;s show, you don&#8217;t throw drinks at them. Apparently, she was in the middle of her most popular song and she asked someone to wet her p-word. So that&#8217;s a thing that she did because she is all class all the time,” Shapiro said on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/ep-1777-family-man-forced-to-acknowledge-seventh-grandchild-member-exclusive" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Monday episode</a> of his podcast. 
Someone responded by throwing a drink at her, after which the rapper threw her microphone back. 
“Also, do I blame Cardi B for chucking her microphone at the guy? No. It&#8217;s very rare when Cardi B and I end up on the same side of a debate, but general rule: if you chuck something at somebody on stage and that person chucks something back at you, that&#8217;s your fault. So Cardi B has, I think, a right to to throw her microphone at somebody who throws a beverage at her,” he said. 
Cardi B is just the latest in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-cardi-b-responds-in-kind-after-concertgoer-throws-drink-at-her" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a long line</a> of performers recently pelted by objects while performing on stage.
Country star Morgan Wallen was in St. Louis on July 7 as part of his One Night at a Time World Tour. A clip on TikTok showed the “Whiskey Glasses” hitmaker stopping during the show to reach down and take a hat from an audience member to autograph. The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/morgan-wallen-reacts-after-getting-hit-with-boot-on-stage">video</a> showed a sparkly boot hitting him square in the chest as he signed the hat.

Adele addressed the new trend earlier this month: “Have you noticed how people are forgetting f***ing show etiquette at the moment?”
“Throwing s*** on stage?” she added. “Have you seen that? I f***ing dare you. Dare you to throw something at me. … These people have lost it. Can you imagine?”
Last month, singer Bebe Rexha was rushed off stage after someone threw a cell phone at her, which struck her head.
Footage of the incident started circulating on social media shortly after it occurred. One <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/singer-bebe-rexha-rushed-offstage-after-getting-hit-in-head-by-cell-phone-during-show">viral video</a> shows the phone flying out of the crowd and hitting Rexha in the face. The footage shows the 33-year-old singer falling to her knees on the stage floor. Crew members can be seen rushing to her side to help.
