<p>Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne said he&#8217;s an &#8220;American now&#8221; and said he&#8217;d rather stay in the United States after previously announcing he&#8217;s moving back to the United Kingdom.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ozzy-osbourne">73-year-old</a> singer admitted he&#8217;s not moving across the pond out of choice, but has to amid a rise in crime in Los Angeles and <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/ozzy-osbourne-sharon-osbourne-quitting-26390151">taxes</a>, <a href="https://consequence.net/cover/ozzy-osbourne-cover-story-patient-number-9/">Consequence</a> reported in a piece published Monday.</p>
<p>&#8220;To be honest with you, if I had my way, I&#8217;d stay in America,&#8221; Osbourne explained. &#8220;I&#8217;m American now.&#8221;</p>
<p>Osbourne and his wife talk show host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sharon-osbourne-says-she-was-ousted-from-the-talk-after-privately-slamming-not-genuine-oprah-royals-interview">Sharon Osbourne</a> are planning to be <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nothings-united-rock-legend-and-his-family-are-leaving-america-for-good">moved back</a> to England by the end of 2022, the outlet noted.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sharon-osbourne-and-piers-morgan-headed-back-to-tv-after-being-ousted">Sharon</a> said leaving Los Angeles after living there for four decades was made easier because &#8220;California is not what it once was.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;When I first came here, I thought I was in heaven,&#8221; Sharon explained. &#8220;In the &#8217;70s, if you loved music, this was the place to be. It&#8217;s not that hub anymore. It&#8217;s not exciting anymore.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;It hasn&#8217;t gone sideways, it&#8217;s gone down,&#8221; she added. &#8220;It&#8217;s not a fun place to live. It&#8217;s dangerous here. Every big city&#8217;s got crime, but I don&#8217;t feel safe here. Neither does Ozzy.&#8221;</p>

<p>The comments come after she was ousted from CBS&#8217;s &#8220;The Talk&#8221; following her support for Piers Morgan who made comments about Meghan Markle following the Duchess of Sussex&#8217;s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sharon-osbourne-and-piers-morgan-headed-back-to-tv-after-being-ousted">reported</a>.</p>
<p>At one point in the wide-ranging interview, the &#8220;Crazy Train&#8221; hitmaker was asked about what his best album was and his answer made it clear, despite his health struggles and age he&#8217;s not done yet. In 2020, the rocker revealed that he&#8217;d been diagnosed with Parkinson&#8217;s disease.</p>
<p>&#8220;Another question I often get asked is what&#8217;s my best album,&#8221; Osbourne shared. &#8220;And I always say, &#8216;Well, I haven&#8217;t made it yet.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The most valuable thing I have now is time,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m going to be around forever. And that&#8217;s why I want to make more records. I have so much more to give before I go. If I didn&#8217;t have anything worth doing, I wouldn&#8217;t do it.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ozzy and Sharon have been married for forty years and share three children together.</p>
