<p>President Trump on Thursday said he feels &#8220;very badly&#8221; about the arrest of Stephen Bannon, but added that he hasn&#8217;t dealt with his former White House chief strategist in a long time and called the fundraising project with which Bannon was connected “inappropriate.”</p>
<p>“I feel very badly. I haven&#8217;t been dealing with him for a very long period of time, as most of the people in this room know,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. &#8220;Haven&#8217;t been dealing with him at all.&#8221;</p>
