“The Dropout” actress Amanda Seyfried regrets shooting nude scenes when she was younger but felt that she had to for her career.

The 36-year-old celeb admitted to these feelings during an interview with Net-a-Porter. “Being 19, walking around without my underwear on, like, are you kidding me? How did I let that happen?” Seyfried said. “Oh, I know why: I was 19 and I didn’t want to upset anybody, and I wanted to keep my job. That’s why.”

The Pennsylvania native broke into acting and modeling at 15 after being cast on popular soap operas “As the World Turns” and “All My Children.” However, her big break didn’t come until being cast in the cult classic comedy “Mean Girls” alongside Lindsay Lohan in 2004.

In “Mean Girls,” Seyfried plays a ditzy blonde popular girl in high school. During one iconic scene, she predicts rainy weather by touching her breasts and noticing her shirt is getting wet. This led to some uncomfortable fan interactions after the movie exploded in popularity.

The actress recalled that fans would ask her if it was raining all the time after that, making her uncomfortable, especially when those fans were men.

“I always felt really grossed out by that. I was like 18 years old. It was just gross,” she told Marie Claire during a May interview.

Seyfried said getting older has given her perspective and confidence. She lives with her husband and two children on a farm in upstate New York and says her career is important, but she’s not so affected by life’s disappointments anymore.

“When I meet somebody who’s younger, like in their twenties, and they get rejected… by a job or something like that, it crushes them completely for a minute,” she told Net-a-Porter. “Nothing can crush me completely, when it comes to work. I’m uncrushable! Not one thing can crush my life, unless it has to do with my family.”

She continued, talking about being “devastated” by missing out on the role of Glinda in the upcoming “Wicked” adaptation. But the Emmy-nominated actress insists that the loss didn’t badly damage her spirits.

“Obviously, being a parent changes your perspective on things, but it’s not just that,” Seyfried explained. “It’s finally coming to the point of, it’s OK to be proud of your work. It’s OK to be proud, it’s OK to have confidence – it’s actually really important,” she said.
