NFL Hall of Famer and Fox Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw got slammed for “fat-shaming” the Chiefs head coach Andy Reid after Kansas City beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.

Bradshaw spotted Reid on the field as red and yellow confetti rained down and told him to “waddle over here” for an interview following the game.

“Big guy. Let me get the big guy in here,” Bradshaw said, referring to Reid as the Kansas City coach approached him. “Come on, waddle over here.”

Bradshaw then finished the interview by telling Reid, “Have a cheeseburger on us.”

Several accounts on Twitter reacted to Bradshaw’s choice of words, with one user describing the comments as “disgraceful” and “shameful.”

Another wrote, “I don’t think the cheeseburger comment crossed the line but ‘waddling over her’ (sic) certainly did. I think it may be time for Terry Bradshaw to step down.”

While another shared, “Damn Terry Bradshaw, why are you fat-shaming Andy Reid? He said, ‘Hey big guy, waddle over here.’ Then as Andy Reid was walking off, he said ‘Have a cheeseburger on us.’ #SuperBowlLVII #SuperBowl.”

And another tweeted, “Terry Bradshaw being a total dickhead to Andy Reid. Wtf is wrong with people?? ‘Waddle on over here’ ‘go have a cheeseburger on us.’ What a POS.”

However, others on Twitter thought talk of fat-shaming was a ridiculous overreaction, noting the two football legends are pals, along with Reid’s well-known love of cheeseburgers.

“Love me some Andy Reid,” one person wrote. “Double cheeseburger. Trophy Wife (his words). Smiling. Love for the game. Good for you coach. #NFL #SuperBowl.”

The Kansas City’s coach has a long history of talking about eating cheeseburgers after his team’s victories.

After the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl in 2020, Reid said, “I’m going to get the biggest cheeseburger you’ve ever seen.”
