Lisa Bloom is targeting Usher in her latest lawsuit, representing two women and a man alleging that Usher exposed them to the herpes virus during unprotected sexual contact with the millionaire artist.
One of the Bloom’s clients is Quantasia Sharpton; both seen below from a press conference on August 4th.
Sharpton claims to have had sexual contact with Usher some years ago after a concert.
Bloom cited “news reports” of Usher (whose legal name is Usher Raymond) testing positive for the herpes virus in 2009, alleging that Usher unlawfully exposed Sharpton to the virus during some sexual relations:
Many news reports over the last several weeks have stated that celebrity musician Usher Raymond has tested positive for HSB2 also known as genital herpes.
Mr. Raymond has not publicly denied the reports that he was diagnosed with the virus in approximately 2009, nor has he denied the reports that he had unprotected sex with a woman after his diagnosis and transmitted the virus to her without warning her, paying her a $1.1 million settlement for her injuries in 2012.
Sharpton falsely claimed to have a “sex tape” of her alleged sexual contact with Usher, reported TMZ last Wednesday.
Bloom – a left-wing Democrat activist, self-described “feminist,” CNN and HLN alumnus, and NBC/MSNBC legal analyst – regularly pursues high-profile persons and businesses on behalf of clients with allegations of sexual crimes.
Bloom follows the footsteps of her mother Gloria Allred, also a left-wing Democrat activist and “feminist” lawyer who pursues wealthy persons and businesses with lawsuits often relating to sexual crimes and/or sexual discrimination.
