On Saturday, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the Judiciary Committee, issued a blistering response to Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT), who had apparently expressed an interest in the current supplemental FBI background investigation revolving around Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Grassley started by pointing out that on July 10, less than 24 hours after President Trump announced he was nominating Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court, Sanders announced, “(w)e must mobilize the American people to defeat” Judge Kavanaugh.
