<p>On Friday, Senator Josh Hawley fired off a <a href="https://www.hawley.senate.gov/sites/default/files/2020-07/Hawley-Letter-NBA-China-Jersey-Messages.pdf">letter</a> to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver in which he slammed the league for deciding players could emblazon social justice messages on their jerseys while he claimed the league didn’t approve any messages supporting the beleaguered people of Hong Kong, other victims of the Chinese Communist party, or law enforcement.</p>
<p>That prompted ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski to email Hawley this elegant response: “F*** you.”</p>
