Florence Pugh was hit in the face while promoting her movie “Dune: Part Two,” adding to a list of similar incidents against performers being struck with objects while on stage.

In video that surfaced over the weekend from CCXP 2023 in Brazil, the 27-year-old actress can be seen flinching and mouthing the words that looked like “ow” while standing on stage with her fellow co-stars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Pugh wipes her face and then reaches down to pick up whatever had been thrown at her. Fellow co-stars like Austin Butler and Timothée Chalamet, who were standing on either side of Pugh, can be seen in the clip reacting after she was struck.

It is unclear exactly what the item was and if the star was injured. She’s made no mention of the incident on social media.

The “Oppenheimer” star joins a list of celebrities like Bebe Rexha, Pink, and Harry Styles, who have been hit by objects while performing.

Singer Bebe Rexha shared a photo and an update with fans after being struck in the face by a cell phone while performing on stage in New York City and had to be rushed to the hospital, Billboard noted.

In one photo, the 33-year-old singer’s eye was purple and swollen with a cut underneath her brow line. In the next photo, she gave a thumbs-up with her eye bandaged.

Over the summer, singer Harry Styles was performing in Vienna when someone threw something at the 29-year-old pop singer.

In video that circulated online, the “What Makes You Beautiful” hitmaker is seen turning to exit the stage when he is hit in the face with an unknown object.

Last year, Styles was struck in the eye with Skittles candy and had to spend the rest of the show rinsing his eyes with water.

The candy company later took out a full-page ad that said, “Protect the rainbow. Taste the rainbow. But please, don’t throw the rainbow.”

Pink was performing at the British Summer Time Festival at Hyde Park in London when someone tossed a bag of alleged cremated remains on the stage in front of her.

The 43-year-old singer walked over to where the bag landed and held it up for a closer look, at which point she turned to address the fan who had thrown it, asking, “Is this your mom?”

“I don’t know how I feel about this,” she added before continuing with the concert.

Others hit while on stage include Kelsea Ballerini, Drake, and Ava Max.
