Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) got a virtual earful after he tried to shame Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) for putting forth a bill that would prevent <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/transgender" target="_blank" rel="noopener">biological males</a> from using the women&#8217;s restrooms on Capitol Hill.
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mace-introduces-bill-to-ban-men-from-using-womens-bathrooms-in-congress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mace&#8217;s bill</a> comes on the heels of the November 5th election of Sarah <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/knowles-urges-gop-to-hold-the-line-after-democrat-becomes-first-trans-person-elected-to-congress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">McBride</a> (D-DE), a trans-identifying man, to the U.S. House of Representatives — and Phillips called Mace &#8220;pathetic&#8221; for demanding that women&#8217;s spaces be protected.
&#8220;Pathetic. What are you scared of, Nancy?&#8221; Phillips, who challenged President Joe Biden in the 2024 Democratic primary, posted on X.

Several critics pointed out the fact that Mace is a rape survivor herself, making Phillips&#8217; attack on her even more out of line.
