CNN went down the tubes long ago. Once a shining example of worldwide news coverage, the Clinton News Network has become so in the bag for Democrats that its reporting simply can’t be trusted.
But that’s on politics. You would think the last-place cable network could get the death of a worldwide celebrity right.
Think again.
When famed comedian and actor Jerry Lewis died on Sunday, CNN was quick to post a headline — except they published a heder on the death of singer Jerry Lee Lewis. The rockabilly singer, best known for “Great Balls of Fire” and “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” is very much alive.
That prompted the singer’s son to take to Twitterr to correct the report.
As usual, the Twitter wags had a field day.
