<p>Rep. <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/eric-swalwell/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eric Swalwell&#8217;s</a> (D-CA) most recent ad targets Republicans nationwide, suggesting that they would would like to see <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/congressional-republicans-outraged-by-biden-admin-using-fbi-to-wage-open-war-on-pro-life-activists/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">women arrested</a> for having abortions.</p>
<p>The ad premiered Monday evening on MSNBC&#8217;s &#8220;The Reidout&#8221; with host <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/joy-reid/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joy Reid</a>, and it showed a family sitting down to dinner — a mom, a dad, and two kids — when a sudden visit from <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/more-pro-life-activists-targeted-by-fbi-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">law enforcement</a> interrupted the meal.</p>

<p>The young daughter was just complaining about how &#8220;gross&#8221; it was that her parents would kiss each other at the dinner table when a loud knock at the door and flashing lights alerted them to the <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/new-details-emerge-in-shooting-of-84-year-old-pro-life-volunteer-michigan-man-charged/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">police presence</a>.</p>
<p>The officer at the door informed the woman that he had a warrant for her arrest, citing a statute he described as &#8220;unlawful termination of a pregnancy.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s my personal business,&#8221; she objected, but the officer replied, &#8220;That&#8217;s for the courts to decide, Ma&#8217;am.&#8221;</p>
<p>The officer then took her into custody, while her children screamed and cried, explaining that her doctor had also been arrested and that she would be forced to undergo a physical examination.</p>
<p>The ad wrapped up with a series of statements, screaming in bold capital letters, designed to make viewers believe that a total ban on all abortions — and the criminalization of any woman who dared to have one — was imminent.</p>

<p>&#8220;Please, don&#8217;t do this. Please,&#8221; the woman pleaded from the back seat of the police car.</p>
<p>But as a number of conservatives pointed out, what Swalwell depicted in his ad — the dystopian future without abortion access — was actually happening at the direction of President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration, but to pro-life activists.</p>

<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think there is a single Republican candidate running for national office that has suggested arresting women for having abortions. Oh well. <p>RedState&#8217;s @SisterToldjah pointed out that in addition to promoting a false narrative, the ad made police officers look bad. &#8220;Not only is this total BS, but it also paints cops in a bad light. Not your finest hour, Swalwell,&#8221; she <a href="https://twitter.com/sistertoldjah/status/1582346541670334465" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>.</p>
