British actress Elizabeth Hurley said she has no problem acting out steamy sex scenes in her son’s new movie.
The 58-year-old appears in her 21-year-old son Damian’s directorial debut, a project called “Strictly Confidential.” The trailer shows Hurley’s character being seduced by a woman.
“The things that his script needed me to do weren’t necessarily things I’d always done in movies many times,” the “Austin Powers” actress told Access during an interview. “But having [Damian] there meant that I felt safe and looked-after, and I knew in [post production] he’d look after me.”
“So actually it’s kind of liberating to work with your family. I may do it again,” she added.
The actress said she had promised her son she’d star in his first movie and that he’d been experimenting with making short films since he was a young boy.
Damian gushed about working with his mother on the project.
“I want to worship @ElizabethHurley1 who, during the making of my first ever short film back in 2010 (when I was 8) promised me she’d be in my first feature,” he wrote on Instagram in December 2022. “True to her word, the minute this film was greenlit, Mama dropped everything and raced out to the beautiful Caribbean to help. Working together was a dream.”

He continued: “This has genuinely been the most incredible experience, both professionally and personally. I’ve made lifelong friends and learnt many valuable lessons I’m so so proud of this film.”
The mother/son duo have previously made headlines for their behavior with each other. In the past, Damian took photos of his mom posing in skimpy bathing suits, as she had done for him.

“People find this really controversial,” he told Access. “Showbusiness has been a fundamental part of my life; my entire life. So to us, it’s not a thing. It’s part of business. She takes my photos, I take hers.”
Damian is Hurley’s only child. His father, Steve Bing, died in 2020.
Hurley is best known for starring in films like “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” (1997) and “Bedazzled” (2000). She became a megastar in 1994 after attending the premiere of “Four Weddings and a Funeral” with then-boyfriend Hugh Grant and wearing a revealing black Versace dress.
