Just a few years ago, whenever a group of Tea Partiers got together to listen to speeches about America’s founding principles, exchange email addresses, and pick up their own litter, our national media would shift into a frenzy. And the most polite and peaceful protests imaginable would be portrayed as Nazi rallies.
The irony was rich. Nazi Germany was a National Socialist state. But that didn’t stop the liars in the media from portraying a homemade sign protesting socialism as proof of creeping Nazism. At one Tea party event after another, frustration never once turned to rage, and you never saw any violence, vandalism, or even a scrap of paper left on the ground.
