<p style="font-weight: 400;">U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee pulled no punches on Tuesday while speaking with The Jerusalem Post at its Diplomatic Conference, declaring that European nations pushing a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state “destroyed” the negotiations for the Israeli hostages held by the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“I’ll tell you what destroyed the negotiations for the hostages was the European nations going and having this push for a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state,” Huckabee asserted. “I can tell you that was very detrimental, and it destroyed negotiations.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“I can’t say we were close to some type of resolution because Hamas has never been close to a resolution, and people have to understand: Whatever they pretend that they’re for, they’re not at the moment in which they have to make the agreement,” he stressed. “The same people who did the barbaric, savage things on October 7 are the same people you’re expected to sit down and have a conversation and a negotiation with? Look at what they did on October 7. Good gosh, remember what they did?”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“These are not normal people,” he asserted. “These are not people that you deal with like you’re buying a car or you’re working out some trade agreement. These are horrible, savage people who did the most unspeakable things to other human beings, civilians, and so they don’t negotiate for hostages based on a moral code that we’re used to dealing with; Israel is used to dealing with. That’s not what we’re dealing with. And so, we all want the hostages home, and we want them home today. President Trump has said so many times, so clearly, so consistently: All the hostages come out at once and Hamas must disappear, go away, disarm, can’t stay. That’s as clear as he can be.”</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Sometimes [Israel] may disagree with the United States – that is their right,” the ambassador said. “They are a sovereign nation, and they have every basis to say we disagree. We respect our partner. &#8230; We have friends as the United States, and we do have allies, but I would say we only have one real partner,” noting the “levels of intelligence, military hardware and software, levels of cooperation and communication, the likes of which simply do not exist with any other country.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“West Bank is a very modern, nebulous term,” he contended. “It is more accurate to call it Judea and Samaria, the term that goes back two or three thousand years – and 80% of the Bible is about Judea and Samaria.”</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="638" data-end="984">Greenfield, who helped turn an ice cream brand into a vehicle for radical leftist politics, claimed he was stepping down because the company could no longer “stand up for the things we believed.” Among those beliefs: <a href="https://x.com/benandjerrys/status/1381743962558504969">defunding the police</a>, <a href="https://jewishinsider.com/2022/06/ben-and-jerrys-ice-cream-israel-palestinian-territories-human-rights-watch/">demonizing Israel</a>, promoting abortion access, and <a href="https://news.dailywire.com/news/colin-kaepernick-gets-ben-jerrys-ice-cream-flavor-proceeds-funneled-to-his-own-foundation">collaborating</a> with anti-police activist Colin Kaepernick.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="986" data-end="1293">“After 47 years,” Greenfield wrote, “I can no longer, in good conscience, remain an employee of Ben &amp; Jerry’s.” He said he was heartbroken by the loss of what he called the company’s independence to promote leftist values, an independence supposedly enshrined in the 2000 acquisition deal with Unilever.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1295" data-end="1697">According to Greenfield, the company’s founding mission was never just about ice cream — it was always about being a “values-led” company that stood for “peace, justice, and human rights,” conveniently defined through the far-Left lens of modern identity politics. He went so far as to say that if Ben &amp; Jerry’s can’t be a platform for leftist causes, “then it wasn’t worth being a company at all.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1699" data-end="2127">Greenfield’s resignation caps off years of ideological escalation at Ben &amp; Jerry’s. In 2021, the company tweeted that America’s policing system “can’t be reformed” and “must be dismantled” after the Daunte Wright shooting, calling the tragic incident a result of “white supremacy.” That same year, Ben &amp; Jerry’s partnered with Colin Kaepernick for the “Change the Whirled” flavor, directing proceeds to his radical anti-police foundation.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2558" data-end="2990">Ben &amp; Jerry’s has also been a persistent critic of Israel, going so far as to cease operations in what they called “Occupied Palestinian Territory,” parroting BDS-style rhetoric. Employees have reportedly been subjected to video lectures from anti-Israel activists, including Omar Shakir, a known BDS promoter expelled from Israel, who falsely accused the Jewish state of apartheid while downplaying terrorist aggression from Hamas.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2992" data-end="3205">The company’s descent into full-scale activism included introducing flavors called “Justice Remix’d” and “Pecan Resist,” each an homage to far-Left causes such as criminal justice reform and resistance to the Trump administration.</p>

Ben & Jerry’s Radical Co-Founder Quits After Unilever Muzzles His Leftist Activism

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Amid the furor over Charlie Kirk’s assassination, claims have been made in the attempt to &#8220;both sides&#8221; political violence that the man who attacked Pennsylvania Democrat governor Josh Shapiro’s home was a Trump supporter.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Shapiro himself, responding to the anger from President Donald Trump after the Kirk assassination, wrote, “No one party is immune from political violence. My family and I can attest to that.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Violence transcends party lines — and the way to address it and have true peaceful debate is for leaders to speak and act with moral clarity. That needs to start with the President,” Shapiro said.</p>
<p>But the evidence available suggests that Shapiro&#8217;s attacker, Cody Balmer, is almost certainly not an example of right-wing violence.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Balmer had declared “himself a “socialist” in social media accounts <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/04/14/us-news/cody-balmer-suspected-josh-shapiro-arsonist-pictured/">expressing a range of far-left beliefs</a>,” The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/04/14/opinion/josh-shapiro-survives-fire-assassination-attemptthe-left-must-own-the-culture-of-political-violence-it-created/?utm_campaign=iphone_nyp&amp;utm_source=pasteboard_app">pointed out</a>, adding, “Balmer also shared multiple left-wing anti-capitalist posts on his Facebook.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">According to a search warrant, the motivation for Balmer&#8217;s hatred of Shapiro was rooted in the Jewish governor&#8217;s <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2025/04/16/arson-attack-shapiro-palestine-motive/83113218007/">support for Israel</a>.</p>
<p>After Balmer set the fire at Shapiro’s home, he reportedly <a href="https://www.fox43.com/article/news/local/dauphin-county/county-officials-release-cody-balmer-911-call-shapiro-residence-attack/521-593ceb32-d9af-4692-860e-d623e77b5ce7">called 911</a>, declaring he “&#8230;will not take part in his (Shapiro&#8217;s) plans for what he wants to do to the Palestinian people&#8230; he needs to stop having my friends killed.” District Attorney Fran Chardo <a href="applewebdata://26D98909-A91F-46CC-A43A-4774AD366721/v">stated</a>, “We will use the statement [by Balmer] regarding Palestine as evidence the defendant targeted the Governor because he is Jewish. We allege that this was a hate crime.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“His posts express opposition to former President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump, the GOP and the Democratic Party. He also posted memes critical of the COVID-19 pandemic response, suggesting that the media and government overreacted and taking pride in disobeying lockdown orders,” News From The States <a href="https://www.newsfromthestates.com/article/plagued-legal-woes-alleged-shapiro-attacker-espoused-murky-political-views?utm_source=chatgpt.com">reported</a>.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Although his brother <a href="https://www.spotlightpa.org/news/2025/04/pennsylvania-governor-mansion-arson-attack-mental-health-shapiro/">claimed</a> that he tried to convince everyone in his family to vote for Trump in 2024, Balmer <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/investigations/2025/04/14/who-cody-balmer-harrisburg-pa-arson-shapiro/83079845007/">said</a> of politicians, “I don&#8217;t play favorites especially since they all suck.” His family also <a href="https://www.spotlightpa.org/news/2025/04/pennsylvania-governor-mansion-arson-attack-mental-health-shapiro/">said he had mental illness issues</a> and would not take his medication.</p>

<p>Joe Scarborough of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” in listing attacks by members of the Right on political figures, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGzT8Zyzb80">limned</a> Shapiro’s attacker as from the Right as Scarborough included Shapiro in his list, saying, “This followed Josh Shapiro having his home, an attempted arson, trying to burn down his home with his wife and his children sleeping inside of it. His goal, he admitted, was to burn the house down, find the Democratic governor of the state of Pennsylvania, and then beat him to death with a hammer.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Don Lemon <a href="https://x.com/DeplorableWench/status/1967585901539926253">stated</a>, “The man who targeted the home of Democratic governor Josh Shapiro &#8230; was a Trump supporter.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Other voices on social media made <a href="https://x.com/TheRickyDavila/status/1911808208722936004">claims</a> such as, “The terrorist attack on Governor Josh Shapiro’s residence wasn’t random, it was a MAGA lunatic who was radicalized by hate and propaganda online.”</p>

No, The Attack On Democrat Josh Shapiro’s House Is Not An Example Of ‘MAGA’ Violence

<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Muslim mayor of Dearborn, Michigan — which has a large Muslim population — told a local Christian man that he was <a href="https://www.themidwesterner.news/2025/09/dearborn-muslim-mayor-unleashes-on-christian-resident-at-city-meeting-you-are-not-welcome-here/">not welcome in the city</a> after the man questioned the city honoring a Muslim journalist who has reportedly praised the terrorist group Hezbollah.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The confrontation occurred at a Dearborn city council meeting, when Christian resident Ted Barham voiced his opposition to renaming Warren Avenue after local Arab American journalist Osama Siblani. Barham cited the journalist’s history of praising Hezbollah, a U.S.-designated as a terrorist organization, and expressing anti-Israel sentiments.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Rather than engaging with these concerns, Hammoud delivered a sharp message: “Although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here.” The mayor reportedly added that the day Barham moves out of the city would be marked by a celebratory parade.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Siblani, who arrived in the U.S. in 1976 and founded The Arab American News, has publicly glorified Hezbollah and openly wished harm on Israel, even threatening to send Israeli Jews “back to Poland,” according to MEMRI. During a 2024 rally in Dearborn, when chants of “death to Israel” filled the air, Siblani assured the crowd that Hezbollah would “take care of the job,” a likely euphemism for violent eradication of the Jewish state.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Siblani has repeatedly emphasized the importance of bolstering the influence of those who support his views on U.S. politics,&#8221; MEMRI <a href="https://www.memri.org/reports/delegation-middle-east-michigan-governor-gretchen-whitmer-includes-dearborn-michigan">reported</a>, &#8220;In November 2023, Siblani boasted that Muslims are <a href="https://www.memri.org/tv/deraborn-michigan-palestine-rally-adam-abusalah-biden-cancer-mayor-abdullah-hammoud-resistance">on the road to a great victory in D.C. and Palestine</a>, and that the White House and Washington are full of ‘bloodthirsty killers’ who need to be ‘cleaned out.’ In May 2024, <a href="https://www.memri.org/tv/michigan-based-editor-arab-american-news-osama-siblani-on-way-white-house-congress">he said</a>: ‘I can very confidently tell you that we are on the road to the White House, to Congress, to the decision-making everywhere in the United States.’”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Siblani remains a celebrated figure among local officials, including Hammoud, who honored him alongside other political leaders at the street sign ceremony. Meanwhile, Barham was publicly labeled an “Islamophobe,” with the mayor accusing him of bigotry based on a 2019 YouTube video that a subsequent review found contained no derogatory remarks about Islam.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">As The Detroit Free Press <a href="https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/wayne/2025/09/12/mayor-abdullah-hammoud-dearborn-resident-not-welcome-osama-siblani-signs/86107427007/">noted</a>:</p>

The bill awards three Congressional Gold Medals to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Team — a group of college kids headed by legendary coach Herb Brooks — for their historic 4-3 triumph over the Soviet Union, an act of athletic defiance that echoed far beyond Lake Placid. <p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2026" data-end="2363">Backed by a chorus of support from the National Hockey League, USA Hockey, and both sides of the aisle in Congress, the legislation recognizes what the American people have long known: that Herb Brooks’ squad didn’t just win a game — they delivered a gut punch to Soviet dominance at a time when America desperately needed a win. The U.S. had last won the gold medal in 1960; the Soviets had won every gold medal after that, in 1964, 1968, 1972, and 1976.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2365" data-end="2562">The bill pays homage to that historic moment, noting that the victory aired to more than 34 million Americans, inspired a generation of athletes, and forever changed the game of hockey in the U.S.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2564" data-end="2855">Since 1980, American hockey registrations have jumped from 136,000 to more than 564,000, and the number of U.S.-born NHL players has more than tripled. The ripple effects of “the Miracle” are still being felt today — on NHL ice, in youth leagues, and now in the annals of congressional history.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2857" data-end="2983">Perhaps most powerful are the words of the late Coach Brooks, who famously told his team before facing the Soviets: “You were born to be hockey players … and you were meant to be here.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="3056" data-end="3153">They were. And now, thanks to this bill, Congress has said they were also meant to be remembered.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="3155" data-end="3472">The timing couldn’t be more poignant. The 1980 team played against the backdrop of stagflation, gas shortages, a hostage crisis in Iran, and a demoralized national mood. The Cold War was peaking, the Soviet Union had just invaded Afghanistan, and Americans were wondering whether their best days were behind them.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="3474" data-end="3619">Then came a puck drop, a roar in Lake Placid, and a stunned Soviet squad skating off the ice. In that moment, American grit beat Soviet strength.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="3621" data-end="4043">Now the bill — which had near-unanimous support in the House and Senate — lands on President Trump’s desk, where it is widely expected to be signed without delay.</p>

‘Do You Believe In Miracles?’: Trump Set To Honor 1980 Olympic Hockey Team

<p style="font-weight: 400;">In a move that underscores the growing arrogance of the Democratic Party’s far-left flank, New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani refused to endorse sitting New York Gov. Kathy Hochul for re-election just one day after she publicly backed his candidacy — a gesture that cost her political capital among moderates and independents.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="495" data-end="887">After weeks of hesitation, Hochul, the embattled Democrat, finally bent the knee and endorsed Mamdani over the weekend. She published an <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/14/opinion/hochul-endorsement-mamdani.html">op-ed</a> in The New York Times, making the case that unity against Donald Trump was more important than her ideological rift with Mamdani — a radical democratic socialist who backs higher taxes, defunding the police, and “reimagining” capitalism.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="889" data-end="1265">But Mamdani, true to form, wasted no time revealing just how transactional the endorsement would be. Speaking to reporters on Monday, he <a href="https://www.nydailynews.com/2025/09/15/mamdani-declines-to-immediately-back-hochuls-reelection-after-she-offers-him-coveted-endorsement/">casually brushed aside</a> the idea of returning the favor. “My focus is on November,” Mamdani said, refusing to endorse Hochul’s 2026 re-election bid. He offered perfunctory gratitude for her support — then pivoted back to his talking points.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1267" data-end="1601">The message was clear: Mamdani is happy to accept Hochul’s help, but he has no intention of helping her fend off what could be a brutal primary challenge from her own left flank — or a general election fight against Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who’s already blasting Hochul for supporting “a raging antisemite communist.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1603" data-end="1912">Hochul didn’t simply endorse Mamdani out of genuine alignment. She did it as a calculated gamble — to shore up support among progressives ahead of a likely challenge from Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado and to boost turnout in NYC. And yet, Mamdani couldn’t even offer her the bare minimum in return.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1914" data-end="2298">This one-sided “alliance” is exposing the very rift that is tearing the Democratic Party apart. Hochul admitted in her own op-ed that she and Mamdani were “unlikely allies” and that they “don’t see eye to eye.” She explicitly distanced herself from his most extreme proposals — including hiking taxes on the wealthy and gutting the NYPD — while also noting concerns over antisemitism.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2300" data-end="2613">Meanwhile, other prominent New York Democrats like Sen. Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have still refused to endorse Mamdani at all.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2615" data-end="2807">Stefanik wasted no time capitalizing on Hochul’s endorsement, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stefanik-rips-hochul-for-backing-raging-antisemite-communist-zohran-mamdani?author=Hank+Berrien&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=1&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Stefanik+Rips+Hochul+For+Backing+%E2%80%98Raging+Antisemite+Communist%E2%80%99+Zohran+Mamdani">torching</a> the governor for “putting jet fuel on commie Mamdani” and vowing to save New York from the radicalism she said is destroying the state.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2809" data-end="3084">Hochul handed Mamdani a lifeline in the name of party unity. In return, he handed her political disrespect and strategic silence.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">It’s the perfect encapsulation of today’s Democratic Party: “moderates” grovel to radicals as the radicals grind them down.</p>
