Dem Operative For Soros-Funded Group Attacked Female GOP Campaign Manager, Report Says

Law enforcement officials arrested a Democratic operative on Tuesday for attacking the female Republican campaign manager for Nevada GOP gubernatorial nominee Adam Laxalt, the second time this year that the operative has been arrested for allegedly physically attacking Republican women.

Las Vegas City Marshals arrested 50-year-old Wilfred Michael Stark III — a left-wing operative for American Bridge 21st Century, “a group founded by David Brock and funded by liberal billionaire George Soros,” Fox News reported.

“He was arrested by our city marshals last night about 7 p.m. after Kristin Davison contacted them saying Mr. Stark had grabbed her by the arm and pushed her,” the city marshal’s office said in a statement to Fox News. “The arrest is classified as a citizen’s arrest because the incident did not happen in the presence of the marshals.”

“Politics is a little bit aggressive these days, but this is just insane,” Davidson said. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Stark was arrested in March for allegedly attacking a female staffer for Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.

Davidson said she was afraid for her safety after Stark pushed and screamed at her, so she, Laxalt, and two other staffers went into a private room which Stark “burst” into shortly after.

“Two male staffers were trying to hold him back,” Davidson said. “He was so aggressive, he looked like he was going towards the candidate to physically harm him.”

“He grabbed my right arm, my leg was lodged between the door and the wall,” Davidson continued. “He twisted my arm and contorted it behind my back. I was scared. Every time I tried pulling away, he would grab tighter, and pull me closer into him.”

“I was scared and screaming ‘stop—you’re hurting me,” Davidson claimed, adding that Stark told Laxalt: “Adam, there’s only one way you can make this stop.”

“Assaulting the female campaign manager of the opposing campaign is disgusting and it has no place in our system,” Laxalt campaign spokesperson Parker Briden said. “This mob behavior from the left is out of control. Encouraging violence, as many prominent Democrats like former Attorney General Eric Holder have recently done, is having real, dangerous consequences.”

Fox News noted that Soros is the group’s largest donor, donating “more than $2 million between 2015 and 2016,” and that he “is still involved with the group, most recently donating $300,000 in February, and $80,000 last year.”
