<p>During a conversation with former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1723641046911000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2cR909xUzQXKKZGGrrPUTH">Donald Trump</a> on Monday, billionaire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/elon-musk" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.dailywire.com/topic/elon-musk&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1723641046911000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3a4P2O6NOrGKgRK1KR8fuB">Elon Musk</a> said that he is not &#8220;far-right,&#8221; as the media portrays him, but a political &#8220;moderate&#8221; who is strongly encouraging other moderates to vote for Trump in 2024.</p>
<p>Musk framed the 2024 election as an &#8220;important juncture&#8221; and said our nation is &#8220;in deep trouble&#8221; if Trump were to lose.</p>
<p>“I’ve not been very political before. [The media] try to paint me as a far-right guy, which is absurd because I like to make electric vehicles,&#8221; Musk said to Trump. &#8220;I supported Obama &#8212; I stood in line for six hours to shake Obama’s hand [and] historically I was a moderate Democrat.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;But now I feel like we’re at a critical juncture for the country,&#8221; the entrepreneur continued. &#8220;This is to people out there who are in the moderate camp, [I] say, I think you should support Donald Trump for president.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I actually think it&#8217;s a very important juncture in the road, we&#8217;re in deep trouble if it goes the other way,&#8221; Musk added.</p>

<p>Trump responded to Musk, &#8220;I&#8217;ve always thought of you as somewhat Left &#8212; it&#8217;s even more of an honor to have your endorsement.&#8221;</p>

<p>The pair spoke for more than two hours on social media platform X, which Musk bought in 2022. They covered a range of topics, including the assassination attempt on Trump&#8217;s life, immigration, government waste, free speech, and President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris &#8212; Trump&#8217;s opponent in the 2024 election.</p>
<p>Notably, hours before the interview, the European Commission <span style="font-weight: 400;">told Musk in an open letter that he had to censor so-called harmful content, or else his company could be punished. Using a colorful meme, Musk fired back on X and told the body he would not comply. </span></p>
