<p>Conservatives cheered Wednesday evening after Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha&#8217;s Vineyard, a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/massachusetts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Massachusetts</a> island that is home to wealthy progressives like former President Barack Obama.</p>
<p>“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” an official for DeSantis’ office <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ron-desantis-sends-two-planes-illegal-immigrants-marthas-vineyard" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in a statement. “States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country’ by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden Administration’s open border policies.”</p>
<p>The official continued, “As you may know, in this past legislative session the Florida Legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law.”</p>
<p>&#8220;Wealthy Martha’s Vineyard finally has to pay their fair share of what poorer border towns have been forced to deal with for YEARS due to Dems open border policies,&#8221; radio host Dana Loesch tweeted. &#8220;Dems talk about sanctuary but get all stingy and look down their noses when illegal entrants enter their enclaves.&#8221;</p>

<p>The popular conservative account Comfortably Smug tweeted, &#8220;Every GOP governor dealing with the crisis at the border needs to start sending plane after plane of illegal migrants to Martha&#8217;s Vineyard and the Hamptons.&#8221;</p>
<p>Another popular Right-leaning account, Sunny McSunnyface, responded to a Left-wing activist complaining that the community does not have the resources to deal with the influx of migrants. &#8220;Oh does it suck to have community resources overwhelmed by migrants showing up uninvited?&#8221; the account tweeted. &#8220;Sounds like it’s time to stop being racist and start building.&#8221;</p>
