Blaming “political intolerance” for the murder of Jo Cox – a British Member of Parliament – on Thursday, Hillary Clinton issued a statement contrasting with her blaming of the Second Amendment for Sunday’s Islamic terrorist attack targeting LGBT persons at an Orlando nightclub.
Cox was shot and killed by a man whose motives are not yet clear.

“It is critical that the United States and Britain, two of the world’s oldest and greatest democracies, stand together against hatred and violence. This is how we honor Jo Cox — by rejecting bigotry in all its forms, and instead embracing, as she always did, everything that binds us together,” declared Clinton’s campaign statement.
Clinton regularly describes her political opponents – in particular Donald Trump – as bigots who promote hatred and violence. It is unclear is Clinton knew who Cox was before today.
The Daily Wire’s Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro joined Richard Grenell noted the contrast in approach:
The United Kingdom’s regime of “gun control” is far more restrictive than those found in either the US or Canada.
