Chris Pratt’s wife Katherine Schwarzenegger said she and the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star met in church, but it’s not like people might think — she says he didn’t pick her up there.
During the 33-year-old author’s recent appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the host said that, as a single woman herself, she wanted to know the story about how Schwarzenegger met her husband.
“We met each other at church,” Schwarzenegger, daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, explained, as Barrymore shared how much she “loved that” idea.
“It was very sweet,” Pratt’s wife added. “But he didn’t like try and pick me up in church.”

“Everybody’s always like, ‘How did that happen that you were in church? How’d that work?'” Schwarzenegger continued, noting that the star previously shared she knew when she met Pratt they “would fall in love.”
The “Charlies Angels” star then pressed her guest on exactly how did she know and then asked for tips about what she should “be looking for.”
Her guest seemed to dodge the question and just laughed saying her mother, TV anchor Maria Shriver, would “love to” help Barrymore find someone — and the host seemed more than up for that.
“You know who would love to find you somebody? My mother,” Schwarzenegger shared. “It’s like her pride in life. Loves, loves to be matchmaker, she will do it.”
Shriver reportedly had been the one to introduce the couple. In 2019, the Marvel star and Katherine got engaged, and she shared at the time with Fox News that things were “amazing,” the outlet noted.
“I think anyone who finds the person that they get to spend the rest of their life with … it’s a huge gift and a huge blessing, so I feel really lucky,” Katherine shared.
Since that time, “The Tomorrow War” star and Katherine have welcomed two little girls into their family, Lyla, 2, and Eloise, 8 months.
Pratt also shares a 10-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris, whom he was married to from 2009 to 2018, Page Six noted.
