Chris Pratt admitted he was “really broken” before he met the woman that would become his second wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, and told others who might be going through a rough time to keep the faith.

During the 43-year-old actor’s appearance Tuesday on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the Marvel star opened up about his mental struggle after he and ex-wife actress Anna Faris divorced in 2018 following nearly 10 years of marriage.

“I met Katherine — now it’s been five, six years ago,” Pratt told the host. “God has a fast-forward button, you know. When it’s right — boom — you’re hit. You fall in love, you get married.”

“Now we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family, and it feels really great,” he added. “There was a moment in my life that I was really struggling and felt really broken.”

“For me, [it was] my own journey finding a higher power and leaning on that and feeling like, ‘Please save me,’ and feeling saved,” Pratt continued. “And then shortly later, [I met] the woman of my dreams.”

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star opened up about how he and the daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger met in church and how it couldn’t have been better planned.

“It’s all about timing,” the actor said. “There’s a perfect plan out there for you. And I think you have to have faith. The minute you have faith, it falls into place.”

“We met at a church,” he added. “I was in the front row of church — which is like, you kind of don’t want to be like, ‘Woah, who’s that?’ at church. You know what I mean?”

“But I was sneaking some glances and wondering, ‘Who is that? Anyway, what am I doing? Come on, I’m broken, help me. But who’s that?’” Pratt continued. “So we kinda hit it off. And we didn’t start dating right away, but we met there and later on, ended up going out.”

Katherine Schwarzenegger’s mother, TV anchor Maria Shriver, reportedly was the person to introduce the couple, Fox News noted. In 2019, Pratt and Katherine got engaged. Since that time, “The Tomorrow War” star and Katherine have welcomed two little girls into their family, Lyla and Eloise.

Pratt also shares a 10-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris, to whom he was married from 2009 to 2018.
