On Thursday night, Chelsea Clinton decided to engage in a battle on Twitter with Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro.
That wasn’t smart.
The confrontation was prompted by a tweet from House Speaker Paul Ryan:
Brian Beutler, senior editor at New Republic, had a snarky reply to Ryan:
Clinton decided to jump on the bandwagon, reaching into her own limited supply of snarkiness, attempting to sound profound as she ripped Ryan:
At which point Shapiro fired off a tweet mocking Clinton for tweeting instead of actually doing something:
Clinton, stung, tried to fire back:
That prompted a tweet from Shapiro leaving Clinton looking much like her mother after the November election:
