<p style="font-weight: 400;">A recent <a href="https://news.gallup.com/poll/694835/image-capitalism-slips.aspx">Gallup poll</a> bolstered the notion that Democrats are turning toward socialism, noting, “For the first time, less than half of Democrats (42%) view capitalism positively &#8230; Stability in U.S. adults’ opinions of socialism obscures Democrats’ more positive views of it over time, from 50% rating it positively in the initial 2010 reading to roughly two-thirds in three readings since 2019.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Speaking of the disparate views of Republicans, Democrats, and independents, Gallup pointed out, “Democrats are the only partisan group of the three that views socialism more positively than capitalism — 66% to 42%, respectively. Independents are modestly more pro-capitalism than pro-socialism (51% vs. 38%), while Republicans are overwhelmingly so (74% vs. 14%).”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“This is where the danger is for Democrats, because if socialism plays in Democratic primaries, it does not play in the general electorate,” Enten continued. “Net popularity among all adults, capitalism is on the positive side of the ledger at plus 12 points. Socialism way, way, way underwater at minus 18 points. So, that&#8217;s capitalism running away by 30 points over socialism. &#8230; something may play in Democratic primaries. It may play in the very Democratic city of New York. But among the general electorate, Republicans are salivating at the idea that they can run against a Democratic socialist being the mayor of New York City.”</p>

Rather than discuss real solutions for New York’s public safety crisis, housing shortages, or spiraling budget deficits, Mamdani and Sanders devoted most of their energy to blaming the usual scapegoats: billionaires, corporations, Republicans, and of course, President Donald Trump. Mamdani railed against Trump’s tax legislation — calling it a “wealth transfer” — as if the city’s poverty and housing crisis suddenly began in 2016. He glossed over New York’s decades of Democrat mismanagement, choosing instead to indict the president for everything from hunger to homelessness.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">According to Sanders, the United States is now an oligarchy run by cartoon villains, such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Rupert Murdoch. He lamented the “six media conglomerates” that supposedly control everything Americans read and think — somehow omitting the overwhelming liberal slant of most mainstream outlets.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">For notable examples of how socialism fails, one need look no farther than countries that implemented socialist or communist policies, such as Venezuela, once one of Latin America’s wealthiest countries, which has suffered hyperinflation (up to 1,000,000% in 2018) and massive shortages of food and medicine; the Soviet Union, where its Marxist-Leninist communism led to famines (e.g., Holodomor in Ukraine) and economic stagnation by the 1980s; Cuba, which has chronic economic stagnation, or North Korea, where 2-3 million people died of starvation in the 1990s.</p>

Radical Left On The Rise: Democrats Embrace Socialism, Handing GOP A Political Gift

<p style="font-weight: 400;">During a fiery showdown on Wednesday, FBI Director Kash Patel pushed back against repeated taunts from Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), declaring he would “call bulls*** on your entire career in Congress.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Despite the fact that Patel, as FBI Director, has a massive job supervising and keeping the country safe, Swalwell began by maligning Patel because Patel said he had not read all of the voluminous Epstein files. Patel pointed out, “What I’ve been doing is been busy providing the safest country this country has seen in modern U.S. history in historic speed because the men and women of the FBI are given the resources to reduce the homicide rate, to reduce the drug trafficking rate, to reduce the amount of children that have been trafficked&#8230;”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Swalwell then obsessed on the number of times President Donald Trump’s name might have been mentioned in the Epstein files, speculating hyperbolically, starting with 1000, 500, and finally 100, which Patel denied. When Swalwell claimed that it was Patel’s job to know the exact number, Patel fired back. “My job is to provide for the safety and security of this country. My job is not to engage in political innuendo, so you can go out to the sticks and get your 20-second hits and your fundraising article,” adding, “Your fixation on this matter and baseless accusations that I’m hiding child pedo files is disgusting.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Swalwell still wouldn’t let go of the issue, asking repeatedly if Patel had told Attorney General Pam Bondi that Trump’s name was in the Epstein files, even insulting Patel by saying each word slowly in separate syllables, as if he were speaking to a child. Patel replied, “Why don’t you try spelling it out. Use the alphabet. A B C D E F, don’t want to do it?”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“You&#8217;ve played this cute shell game where you say you can&#8217;t release everything because the court has said that it legally is not allowed to be released, but the court calls bulls***,” Swalwell accused.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Finally, Swalwell moved on, saying, “Let&#8217;s move on, director. You wrote a book called ‘Government Gangsters.’ You identified 20 individuals in that book. You put me on that list, at the top of the list. Thank you. My children find it flattering. Twenty of those individuals have been investigated or have had adverse actions. Director, considering that you have identified these people as, ‘government gangsters,’ will you recuse yourself from making any investigation decisions about these individuals?”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Anyone that has been terminated at the FBI has been done because they failed to meet the muster and their constitutional obligation,” Patel fired back. “No, no. I&#8217;m going to borrow your terminology and call bulls*** on your entire career in Congress. It has been a disgrace to the American people.”</p>

‘I Call Bulls*** On Your Entire Career’: FBI Director Kash Patel Wrecks Swalwell

<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="85" data-end="582">In yet another victory for Elon Musk and the future of American space dominance, a federal judge on Monday <a href="https://www.texastribune.org/2025/09/17/texas-spacex-boca-chica-faa-environmental-lawsuit/?utm_source=chatgpt.com">dismissed a lawsuit</a> from environmental activists attempting to derail SpaceX’s rocket launch operations in South Texas. The lawsuit, filed by groups such as the Center for Biological Diversity and the American Bird Conservancy, claimed that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) violated federal law by approving SpaceX’s launch program without conducting a more rigorous environmental impact review.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="584" data-end="966">At the heart of the dispute was the FAA’s 2022 approval of SpaceX’s expanded rocket activity at Boca Chica — now the newly incorporated city of Starbase — adjacent to a wildlife refuge. Environmental groups insisted that noise, construction, road traffic, and light pollution from rocket launches endangered local wildlife, including ocelots, jaguarundis, and Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="968" data-end="1022">But U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols wasn’t buying it.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1024" data-end="1512">In his ruling, Nichols made it clear: the FAA had fulfilled its legal responsibility under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) by conducting a Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA), which included mitigation measures. The judge said of the FAA’s analysis, “Most of the (assessment&#8217;s) conclusions were well-reasoned and supported by the record,” adding it fell “within a broad zone of reasonableness”—a key legal standard that gives agencies latitude to make policy decisions without courts stepping in to micromanage.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1514" data-end="1706">He emphasized that most of the FAA’s conclusions were “well-reasoned and supported by the record,” and dismissed the environmentalists’ claims that the FAA simply rubber-stamped SpaceX’s data.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="1708" data-end="2115">This ruling is especially significant in light of President Donald Trump’s August 13 <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/08/enabling-competition-in-the-commercial-space-industry/">executive order</a>, which sought to streamline and loosen environmental regulations for private space companies. Trump called it “imperative to national security” that rocket launches dramatically increase by 2030.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">SpaceX has already received FAA approval to <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/science/2025/sep/15/musk-spacex-texas-wildlife?utm_source=chatgpt.com">ramp up</a> Starship launches from five to twenty-five per year at the Texas site. The company is also aiming to nearly double the number of Falcon rocket launches at California’s Vandenberg base. This lawsuit threatened to throw a wrench into those plans — until Nichols shut it down.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="2429" data-end="2706">The environmentalists also took issue with the April 2023 Starship test launch, which ended in a dramatic explosion, scattering debris across wildlife habitats.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The judge’s decision leaves Musk’s vision of making humanity multi-planetary — and launching frequently from the Lone Star State — very much intact. Environmental activists may appeal, but for now, the courts are siding with American innovation over bureaucratic obstruction.</p>

SpaceX Wins Again: Judge Tosses Environmental Challenge To Starbase Launches

<p style="font-weight: 400;">On Wednesday, a Louisiana immigration judge <a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.njd.564334/gov.uscourts.njd.564334.378.0.pdf">ruled</a> that pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil can be deported to Syria or Algeria, saying the extension of time requested by his attorneys was denied.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“The order from the immigration judge, Jamee Comans, came despite a separate order in Khalil’s federal case in New Jersey blocking his deportation while that court considers Khalil’s legal argument that his detention and deportation are unlawful retaliation for his Palestinian advocacy,” <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2025/09/17/mahmoud-khalil-immigration-deportation-order-00569769">Politico</a> reported.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">In April, Comans <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/judge-rules-columbias-pro-hamas-agitator-mahmoud-khalil-can-be-deported?utm_source=chatgpt.com">ruled</a> that Khalil – who was detained over his actions leading anti-Israel protests at Columbia University — could be deported, giving him until April 23 to appeal the decision.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Judge Comans cited the letter from the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, finding that Khalil’s presence in the United States had potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States, noting, “As previously found by this Court, the Immigration Judge lacks authority to question foreign policy determinations made by the U.S. Secretary of State.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Rubio had written that Khalil had led “antisemitic protests and disruptive activities, which fosters a hostile environment for Jewish students in the United States.” Khalil led American undergraduates at Columbia University in actions in support of Hamas after its October 7, 2023, attack. “He served as the negotiator on behalf of the occupying students with the university, pressuring the administration to accommodate student demands based on their illegal activity. He helped organize an illegal encampment on the campus that denied access to ‘Zionist’ students,” JNS <a href="applewebdata://187BEFC8-51EE-4818-A3C5-5F1D4D558027/v">noted</a>.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“The Court also takes into consideration, as a negative factor, the Respondent’s underlying fraud in the course of applying for adjustment of status,” the judge wrote, adding that Khalil “failed to disclose his involvement, association and participation with United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), on his Form I-485. Candid disclosures by the Respondent may have triggered the need for additional information and further processing, involving some degree of discretionary decision-making on the part of the USCIS adjudicator.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“The evidence shows the Respondent knew of the potential immigration consequences for his involvement in protests organized by varying organizations on campus, including CUAD,” Comans explained. “The Respondent was quoted in the news stating that he did not participate in the protests during this time because he was worried about the immigration consequences of his participation, specifically that he would lose his student visa. &#8230; The Court finds the Respondent’s lack of candor and purposeful failure to disclose complete information on the Form I-485 to be significant negative factors. His involvement, association, and participation with CUAD and UNRWA were such that the truth would predictably have disclosed other facts relevant to his qualifications.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Finally, there is no indication Congress ever intended an applicant to benefit from a waiver when the applicant willfully and intentionally fails to accurately report information in the post entry process of adjustment of status,” she pointed out. “The waiver was not designed to reward a lack of candor by applicants admitted as immigrant visa holders who then intentionally engage in dishonesty by misrepresenting facts in the application process to adjust status, post entry. A waiver under these conditions would render the application process meaningless and improperly shift the burden to demonstrate integrity of the information provided by the alien onto the United States government.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“This Court finds that Respondent’s lack of candor on his I-485 was not an oversight by an uninformed, uneducated applicant. This Court finds that the Respondent’s purposeful, non-disclosure was not a misrepresentation by another which imputed consequences to the Respondent. Rather, this Court finds that Respondent willfully misrepresented material fact(s) for the sole purpose of circumventing the immigration process and reducing the likelihood his application would be denied,” she continued.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“This Court cannot and will not condone such an action by granting a discretionary waiver. To do so, would encourage future applicants to take the gamble of materially misrepresenting facts and then seeking a waiver if it is somehow discovered by the U.S. government,” she contended. “The Respondent has failed to meet his burden of proof to establish he is eligible for the waiver, and in the alternative, the Respondent failed to meet his burden of proof to establish that he warrants a favorable exercise of discretion for a waiver under INA § 237(a)(1)(H). Therefore, the request for relief will be denied.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The judge concluded by ordering that Khalil’s application for asylum regarding Algeria was denied and that his applications for asylum regarding Syria were denied.</p>

Judge Orders Palestinian Activist Mahmoud Khalil Deported To Syria Or Algeria

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Critics are calling for the firing of ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel after he claimed the suspected assassin of Charlie Kirk was part of President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel stated in his monologue Tuesday night.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving,” he continued. “On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level, you can see how hard the president is taking this.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Kimmel then mockingly played a clip of Trump answering a question about how he was doing in the wake of Kirk’s assassination, in which Trump deflected to another subject, not willing to share his feelings in public. “This is not how an adult grieves the murder of somebody he called a friend. Clearly, there was a lot of gaming going on, friends that have confirmed that there was kind of that deep, dark internet, Reddit culture and these other dark places of the internet where this person was going deep.”</p>

‘An Affront To Human Decency’: Kimmel Ripped For Falsely Claiming Suspected Kirk Assassin Was MAGA

<p style="font-weight: 400;">U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee pulled no punches on Tuesday while speaking with The Jerusalem Post at its Diplomatic Conference, declaring that European nations pushing a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state “destroyed” the negotiations for the Israeli hostages held by the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“I’ll tell you what destroyed the negotiations for the hostages was the European nations going and having this push for a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state,” Huckabee asserted. “I can tell you that was very detrimental, and it destroyed negotiations.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“I can’t say we were close to some type of resolution because Hamas has never been close to a resolution, and people have to understand: Whatever they pretend that they’re for, they’re not at the moment in which they have to make the agreement,” he stressed. “The same people who did the barbaric, savage things on October 7 are the same people you’re expected to sit down and have a conversation and a negotiation with? Look at what they did on October 7. Good gosh, remember what they did?”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“These are not normal people,” he asserted. “These are not people that you deal with like you’re buying a car or you’re working out some trade agreement. These are horrible, savage people who did the most unspeakable things to other human beings, civilians, and so they don’t negotiate for hostages based on a moral code that we’re used to dealing with; Israel is used to dealing with. That’s not what we’re dealing with. And so, we all want the hostages home, and we want them home today. President Trump has said so many times, so clearly, so consistently: All the hostages come out at once and Hamas must disappear, go away, disarm, can’t stay. That’s as clear as he can be.”</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">“We not only disagree, we strongly urge nations to not go there,” he said of the movement for unilaterally declaring a Palestinian state. “For one, it violates Oslo. It is a stunt at the United Nations. It is not going anywhere; it is not going to create a Palestinian state.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Huckabee also <a href="https://www.jpost.com/diplomatic-conference/article-867635">said</a> that if Israel decided to claim sovereignty over the biblical areas of Judea and Samaria, the U.S. would not object. “We respect Israel as a sovereign nation,” he stated. “We are not going to tell Israel what it can and cannot do any more than we would expect Israel to tell us what we can and cannot do.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Sometimes [Israel] may disagree with the United States – that is their right,” the ambassador said. “They are a sovereign nation, and they have every basis to say we disagree. We respect our partner. &#8230; We have friends as the United States, and we do have allies, but I would say we only have one real partner,” noting the “levels of intelligence, military hardware and software, levels of cooperation and communication, the likes of which simply do not exist with any other country.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“West Bank is a very modern, nebulous term,” he contended. “It is more accurate to call it Judea and Samaria, the term that goes back two or three thousand years – and 80% of the Bible is about Judea and Samaria.”</p>
