Exhibiting delusions of grandeur, Paul Nehlen, who was championed by Donald Trump and Breitbart.com as a challenger they hoped would unseat Paul Ryan in the Wisconsin GOP primary and then was decimated, announced he plans to challenge Ryan as Speaker of the House.
That is a truly hilarious prospect, since Nehlen was creamed by Ryan in the primary, 85%-15%.
Breitbart.com pushed Nehen hard, as seen here, here, and here, and infamously printed that Ryan was “running scared” of Nehlen; Sarah Palin pushed for him; Trump championed his candidacy as well, but finally endorsed Ryan when it became clear he would win a crushing victory and embarrass Trump for siding with Nehlen,
As The Daily Wire noted in early August:
Nehlen has also claimed to be a small business owner of a company called Blue Skies Global LLC, but the claim has been disputed by WISN, which investigated the issue and concluded, “Blue Skies Global LLC appears to be nothing more than Nehlen giving business advice to his friends. It is a small business with no employees, no revenue, no tax filings, and no clients that the Nehlen campaign wished to identify.”

Nehlen also provided some hilarity by making a video in which he posed on a motorcycle while spouting tough-guy style, “Mr. Speaker, you championed this trade deal. Why don’t you come back to Wisconsin and debate me man-to-man, face-to-face, on the realities of PPP. If you don’t want to debate me, maybe we can arm wrestle.”
