Celebrity bodyguard Oded Krashinsky has flown back to Israel to join the Israel Defense Forces[IDF] to train soldiers following the Hamas terrorist attacks that left at least 1,300 Israelis dead.
Krashinsky, who has protected stars like Nicole Kidman and others for the last 30 years, said he left Los Angeles to rejoin the IDF because he wanted to help provide leadership under the “threat” of “invasion,” the New York Post reported.
“I came here to help my unit. The morale is tense,” the President and Founder at Advanced Security Concepts told the outlet.
“The main threat is invasion — we have to deflect it, fight it, and protect against it,” he added.
“I am who I am because I came from here,” Krashinsky continued. “At the end of the day, it’s about experience, decision-making, tactics, and leadership — that’s what I felt I could bring and that’s what I do now.”
Krashinsky, a veteran lieutenant in an IDF secret service special operations unit and father of two, said that they have to prepare to deal with what he called “determined” fighters.

“It’s extremely challenging and you have to be very creative,” the head of the security company said. “We’re expecting not just raids — we’re about to be dealt with very determined and powerful fighters.”
“We’re putting protocol and procedures in place for safety and shelter,” he added.”There’s a lot of strategic decision. We are well prepared right now. Everyone understands that they have to give their all.”
Krashinsky also said that his celebrity clients, some of whom he said are like his family, have reached out and wished him well.
“Some clients are like my family — I’ve worked with them for 15 more years. They call and they text,” the IDF member said.
On Monday, Taylor Swift’s security guard from her “The Eras Tour” also revealed that he too had returned to Israel to fight against Hamas.
Eran Swissa of news outlet Israel Hayom reported that the guard said he “couldn’t stand by” while Jews in Israel were being killed in their homes.
“I have a pretty great life in the U.S., a dream job, great friends, and a comfortable home,” the unnamed bodyguard reportedly said.
“I didn’t have to come here, but I couldn’t stand by while families were slaughtered and burned alive in their homes,” he added. “Don’t stand by and do nothing. Don’t be on the wrong side of history.”
The guard was previously an IDF soldier before he came to work in the United States.
