An unnamed security guard from Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” has gone home to join the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) following the Hamas terrorist attack against his homeland that left more than 1,300 Israelis dead.
Eran Swissa of news outlet Israel Hayom reported that the guard said he “couldn’t stand by” while Jews in Israel were being killed in their homes.
“I have a pretty great life in the U.S., a dream job, great friends, and a comfortable home,” the bodyguard, who didn’t want to be named, reportedly said.
“I didn’t have to come here, but I couldn’t stand by while families were slaughtered and burned alive in their homes,” he added. “Don’t stand by and do nothing. Don’t be on the wrong side of history.”
“It would be an insult to animals around the world to call these terrorists ‘animals,'” the guard continued. “They killed and butchered families in their beds along with the family’s pets and in the end also burned down their houses. Try to imagine this happening in your neighborhood, or to your family.”
Swissa’s post on TikTok included two photos, one of the guard in military gear and another of him protecting the “Shake It Off” hitmaker.

The guard was previously an IDF soldier before he came to work in the United States. He garnered attention over the summer after a TikTok showed him escorting Swift away from the stage after one of her concerts, looking very aware of the crowd and searching for anything that wasn’t right, the Daily Mail noted.
One account posted, “He scanned a thousand people in the crowd in six seconds, six seconds flat. Whatever Taylor Swift’s paying him, it’s not enough.”

While another account wrote, “Now that’s LEGIT SECURITY GUARD EYES.”
