Taylor Swift announced on Thursday that her concert film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is coming soon to a theater near you, and cinemas are already warning fans trying to buy tickets to expect delays.
The 33-year-old pop singer posted a message on X calling “The Eras Tour” the “most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon.”
“Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America!” she added. “Tickets are on sale now…. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 1, 2, 3 LGB (iykyk).” The post included a link where fans can purchase tickets.

The “Shake It Off” hitmaker’s post also included a minute-long clip with images from her sold out concerts over the last few months.
AMC said it had taken steps to ensure it could handle the traffic. The company issued a statement that seemed to reference the disaster fans experienced with Ticketmaster when “Eras Tour” concert tickets went on sale in 2022, including the site crashing and extremely long delays.
“AMC is also aware that no ticketing system in history seems to have been able to accommodate the soaring demand from Taylor Swift fans when tickets are first placed on sale,” the statement said.

“Guests wanting to be the first to buy their tickets online may experience delays, longer-than-usual ticket-purchase waiting-room times and possible outages,” it added. “AMC is committed to ensuring any delays or outages are addressed as quickly as possible.”
The ticket prices are $19.89 for adults, and children can see the show for $13.13. At the time of this publication, there have been no site crashes reported.
