Taylor Swift reportedly handed out massive bonus checks to truckers toting Eras tour concert equipment across the country as the superstar’s sold-out tour comes to a close, with only six shows remaining in the U.S.
Sources told TMZ that the 33-year-old pop star reportedly handed out $100,000 bonus checks to each of the 50 “The Eras Tour” truckers ahead of Saturday’s show in Santa Clara, California.
The truck drivers have been kept busy hauling all the equipment for 20 plus shows across 20 cities that kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, in March and will come to a conclusion on August 9 in Los Angeles at SoFi stadium.
Sources told the outlet that the six-figure bonus checks were an “end of the tour” bonus for production truck drivers who have been hauling Taylor’s equipment for the entirety of her U.S. tour ahead of the launch of Swift’s international leg of the tour, which starts August 24 in Mexico City.

Truckers were reportedly not the only ones who earned big bonus checks described as “very generous.” Other reported recipients included band members, dancers, lighting and sound technicians, caterers, and more, with the total of bonus checks coming to more than $55 million from the “All Too Well” hitmaker, People magazine reported.
The tour has been a hit for the artist, raking in $1 billion in sales, and putting the “Shake It Off” hitmaker in the running for “highest-grossing tour of all time,” TMZ noted.
Swift’s massive tour includes a trek for Swifties across the albums of her life and career — delivering a 44-song set list, singing her heart out for more than 3 hours with little to no break the entire time.

Opening acts during the Eras tour have included Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, HAIM, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN, just to name a few.
In November, the “Delicate” singer broke the news that she was going back out on tour after her “Love Fest” mini-tour in 2020 was canceled due to the COVID pandemic.
