CA Teen Admits To Allegedly Molesting More Than 50 Children

On Saturday, the mother of an 18-year-old California boy turned him in to a Riverside police station after he informed her he had allegedly sexually assaulted two boys aged 8 and 4 at a motel.

That was only the tip of the iceberg; the boy, Joseph Hayden Boston, admitted to investigators that he had allegedly molested more than 50 children in the years since he had turned ten years old, according to Riverside police spokesman Officer Ryan Railsback.

Boston had resided in Riverside since early November 2017, but also has lived in Lakewood and Buena Park in Southern California; the assaults he has allegedly committed have reportedly occurred in each city.

The two boys Boston allegedly assaulted on Saturday were staying at the motel with their parents; they were permitted to go into Boston’s room. Railsback commented, “Hours later, the suspect called his own mother stating what he had just done.”

Riverside police issued a statement saying, “Officers interviewed the suspect and he confessed to sexually assaulting the two juvenile victims in his motel room. He also admitted to molesting upwards of 50 children since he was 10 years old in different cities where he had lived.”

Officer Ryan Railsback of Riverside police told KABC-TV, “This is going to affect not only the victims for a long time, but also our detectives and officers involved in this. To hear someone just be very open about what they’ve done, and they’re only 18 themselves.”
