Pro-Trump influencer Ineitha Lynnette Hardaway, better known as “Diamond” in “Diamond and Silk,” has passed away, according to a statement from the former president. She was 51 years old.

“Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans,” Trump said in a post on social media. “Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina.”

“Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing,” the message continued. “There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!”

No cause of death was given.

The Diamond and Silk Twitter account shared a link for people to donate to her funeral. The funds will be received by her sister Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson, also known as “Silk.”

“The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!” the fundraiser said. “Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her passion and love for the entire race of humanity. The memory of her passing should forever remain in our hearts. In this time of grief, please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family but remember and celebrate the gift that she gave us all!”

The duo were conservative activists who posted live-stream videos talking about politics. The two occasionally appeared on conservative news shows and regularly attended rallies for the former president.

“Diamond and Silk found social media fame before the 2016 election for their videos supporting Trump’s first White House bid,” Mediaite reported. “Neither wavered in their support of him during his term in office or in the two years since President Joe Biden was elected.”

They both endorsed Trump when he announced his third campaign for the White House late last year. “President Trump has our full and complete endorsement!” stated on Twitter.
