Federal law enforcement officials arrested a 37-year-old woman for allegedly making a bomb threat against Boston Children’s Hospital last month.

Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins said that Catherine Leavy of Westfield, Massachusetts, called the hospital and told the operator: “There is a bomb on the way to the hospital. You better evacuate everybody. You sickos.”

Authorities obtained a warrant and tracked the call to a T-Mobile phone that led them to Leavy. They said that Leavy was arrested without incident at her home.

Leavy was charged with one count of making a false telephonic bomb threat and faces up to five years in federal prison if convicted.

Prosecutors issued a statement last month regarding the alleged “large volume” of violent threats made to clinicians and staff members at Boston Children’s Hospital, which has recently been accused of performing genital surgeries on patients under the age of 18 as part of so-called “gender-affirming care.”

The hospital, which touts itself as having the nation’s “first pediatric and adolescent transgender health program,” has denied such accusations, claiming in a statement that “age 18 is used to reflect the standard age of majority for medical decision making,” Fox News reports.

After the hospital emailed media outlets regarding the threats targeting its personnel through hostile internet activity, phone calls, and harassing emails, the Justice Department has warned it will not “sit idly by and allow hate-based criminal activity to continue.”

Left-wing activists and news organizations tried to blame the popular Libs of TikTok Twitter account for the threats despite the fact that Libs of TikTok teamed up with Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon to track down the person who made the bomb threat.

“I condemn all acts/threats of violence in the strongest of terms,” Chaya Raichik, founder of the Libs of TikTok, told The Daily Wire. “I’m hoping the Boston PD saw Seth’s generous offer and will use their full force to catch the perp who made the bomb threat.”

Dillon responded to the fake bomb threat against Boston Children’s Hospital by offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever made the threat.

“Last night, police responded to a bomb threat at Boston Children’s Hospital,” Dillon wrote on Twitter. “Thankfully, the anonymous caller was bluffing — no bomb was found. This was good news to everyone except the lunatic Leftists who can’t wait for something violent to happen so they can blame us for it.”

“And I mean it when I say they can’t wait. I’m willing to bet this bomb threat was called in not by someone who opposes ‘gender-affirming care’ for minors, but by someone who hates Libs of TikTok and wants to see Chaya permanently banned for inciting violence,” Dillon continued. “I believe this for several reasons. To begin with, we’re the ones protecting children. Our opposition to these surgical and chemical procedures is rooted not in hatred for the trans community, but in genuine concern for the well-being of the kids irreversibly damaged by them.”

“Our followers share that concern. It’d make no sense whatsoever to threaten a children’s hospital in the name of protecting kids. I think the better explanation is that this bomb threat was a setup,” Dillon continued. “It conveniently supports the Left’s insane narrative that any critical coverage of ‘family-friendly’ drag shows or ‘gender-affirming care’ amounts to ‘stochastic terrorism’ (i.e., incitement). They also have a disgusting habit of using hoaxes to advance their narratives.”

Dillon instructed anyone with information on the person who committed the crime to send the information to the Libs of TikTok.

“One way or another, the anonymous coward who called in this threat needs to be exposed and face justice,” he concluded. “To that end, I’m putting up a $20,000 cash reward to anyone who comes forward with information leading to his or her arrest. Send your tips to: [email protected].”
