<p>Liberal comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/bill-maher" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bill Maher</a> scolded his audience this week for laughing after he talked about the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump on Sunday.</p>
<p>Maher made the remarks Friday evening on his HBO show &#8220;Real Time&#8221; while talking about the attempt on Trump&#8217;s life at Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach.</p>
<p>&#8220;So let’s not bury the lead,&#8221; Maher said. &#8220;The big story this week, they tried to shoot Trump again. Let’s not–&#8221;</p>
<p>When the audience started laughing, Maher fired back: &#8220;Not funny!&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I’m being serious,&#8221; he added. &#8220;This is the second time this happened. I said this before. There can be no fuzz on this. This is not funny! Okay? So. Okay. So, look, it’s not okay to wish it happened.&#8221;</p>
<p>Maher called the assassination attempt &#8220;a problem,&#8221; adding that the threats being made against politicians &#8220;[happen] too frequently.&#8221;</p>

<p>He then cracked a joke, saying that there were &#8220;two other shooters&#8221; on the course who were waiting to play through the hole, a reference to golfers having to wait on the course for a pairing ahead of them on the course to hurry up and finish the hole so they can play.</p>
