Hollywood star Orlando Bloom gushed about his fiancee singer Katy Perry when he talked about how she’s been present at “big, historical things” and would again be when she performs at King Charles III coronation celebration.

The 46-year-old actor spoke to Entertainment Tonight in Las Vegas at Sony Pictures’ presentation at CinemaCon 2023, and he couldn’t help but brag about his “girl” being part of the coronation concert for the king on May 7 — despite the fact that he would not get to be there with her.

“My girl’s gonna be singing, that’s fun,” Bloom told the outlet. “I’m not gonna make it there, sadly, but she’s representing which is cool.”

“She does those big, historical things,” he added. “It’s wonderful. She sang for the president too. She does that.”

“Who’s left?” the “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” star quipped. “Maybe the pope. So yeah, it’s exciting.”

Earlier in the week, the “Firework” hitmaker spoke about getting the chance to be part of the royal festivities in May.

“I’m grateful I get to go,” Perry said. “I met His Majesty-to-be a few years ago and he named me as one of the ambassadors to his organization, The British Asian Trust, which is an organization that helps fight to end child trafficking,”

“So, I’m also an ambassador for UNICEF, and it really aligned with my values,” she added. “That’s mostly why I’m going, to be an ambassador and to say, ‘Hey, this is me from the USA.’ No, but it’s so cool.”

Bloom and Perry made headlines when the couple announced they were engaged in 2019 after three years together. The following year, the pandemic sidelined the “Dark Horse” hitmaker’s plans to tie the knot in Japan, Page Six noted.

“It was very sweet,” Perry recounted on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” later. “It was Valentine’s Day … we went to dinner and I thought we were going to go see some art after dinner but we pulled up to a helicopter.”

“We landed on a rooftop [in Los Angeles] — my whole family was there, and all my friends,” she added. “He did so well.”

In August 2020, the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, Daisy Dove.

Bloom was previously married to model Miranda Kerr from 2010-2013, and the pair share a son. Perry and Russell Brand tied the knot in 2010 and divorced two years later.
