President Joe Biden capped off a week of gaffes on Friday when, during his remarks commemorating the two-year anniversary of the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill, he recalled the date as being July 6.

While attempting to drive home the international impact of the events that transpired on January 6, 2021, Biden gave the wrong date: “If I can halt for a second and say to you, the impact — what happened on July the 6th had international repercussions beyond what I think any of you can fully understand.”

And while a few people did point out the fact that July 6 was former President George W. Bush’s birthday — born on that day in 1946 — most quickly realized that Biden had simply gotten the date wrong.

But flubbing the date on January 6 was just the latest in a series of gaffes over the past week — Biden’s first week back in the White House after his Christmas vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Also on Friday, Biden once again suggested that Capitol Police Officer William Evans died as a result of “threats by these sick insurrectionists” — referring to the rioters at the Capitol — despite the fact that he was actually killed in early April of 2021 when a car rammed into him and one other officer — who was also injured but survived the attack.

On Thursday, Biden stated that 20,000 pounds of the narcotic fentanyl would be enough “to kill 1,000 people” — when that much of the highly potent drug could essentially wipe out human life on planet earth.

“Since August of last year, Customs and Border Patrol have seized more than 20,000 lbs. of deadly fentanyl. That’s enough to kill, kill as many as 1,000 people in this country,” Biden claimed.

The math there is simple — essentially, Biden claimed that it would take 20 lbs of the narcotic to kill each person. But according to the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), a lethal dose of the drug is only 2 milligrams — which means that just one pound of fentanyl could potentially kill over 200,000 people.

In that same speech, Biden once again referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “President Harris.”

Biden also praised Harris’ expertise with regard to the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border — despite the fact that the closest she has been to said crisis is El Paso, Texas.
