President Joe Biden halted a large shipment of aerial bombs to Israel last week in an effort to force the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to bend to his wishes as he faces backlash from the anti-Semitic forces within his own party.

The Associated Press reported that the shipment was supposed to include 1,800 2,000-pound bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs. The administration is also holding off on providing Israel with Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kits, which turn bombs into precision-guided smart bombs.

Biden stopped the shipment to protest Israel’s decision to go forward with trying to eliminate the Hamas terrorists that remain within the Gazan city of Rafah.

The administration claimed that its concern had to do with providing Israel with large explosive ordnance that could be used in Rafah where Palestinians are densely packed into small spaces.

Politico reported that Biden decided to withhold the weapons to America’s top ally in the region “to send a political message to Israel,” according to seven sources who spoke to the publication who ranged from U.S. officials to industry officials.

Biden’s decision to stop the shipment was made last week as far-Left extremists took over college campuses across the U.S. where they constructed encampments and held pro-Hamas protests.

Top Islamic terrorist leaders have praised the protests because they see that Biden is caving in his support for Israel.

Democrats for months have parroted numbers released by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry, which claims that more than 34,000 people have been killed in Israel’s military operation against Hamas inside Gaza.

“We cannot support such an invasion given the additional untold civilian casualties and devastating impact on humanitarian aid that will follow,” said Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen, who has been highly critical of Israel. “It’s important for the president and the United States to use all the policy tools at our disposal to enforce this position. I will continue to urge the administration to pause the delivery of U.S. taxpayer-funded offensive weapons until the president’s requests regarding the Netanyahu government’s conduct in this war are met.”

The number that Hamas claims has been killed in Gaza makes no distinction between civilian deaths and terrorist deaths.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said two months ago that Israel had killed at least 13,000 terrorists inside Gaza, a number that is definitely higher today.

The Gaza Health Ministry also won’t give names for more than 10,000 people it claims were killed, leading to speculation by many critics that the numbers that have been provided are inflated.
