President Joe Biden ignored questions from reporters over the weekend after an Islamic terrorist attack resulted in the deaths of Americans in Israel and led to several U.S. citizens being kidnapped.
On Sunday, Biden attended a BBQ party at the White House where a live band played.
The White House told the press that “the President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence staff and their families.”
Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged a ceasefire between Israel and the terrorists who committed the attacks, which led to the deaths of hundreds of Israelis and wounded thousands more.
“Turkish Foreign Minister @HakanFidan and I spoke further on Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel,” Blinken wrote. “I encouraged Türkiye’s advocacy for a cease-fire and the release of all hostages held by Hamas immediately.”
His comments came as Israel started targeting terrorist targets.
The actions from the administration come after U.S. officials said that preliminary reports show at least four American citizens were killed and seven others have gone missing and that some were kidnapped and are being held hostage.
