Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro triggered the political Left online Friday afternoon after seeing “Barbie” in theaters on opening day and calling it woke “garbage.”
Shapiro said that the movie was one of the “most woke” movies that he has ever seen and that he is releasing a full-length review of it tomorrow.
“My producers dragged me to see ‘Barbie’ and it was one of the most woke movies I have ever seen,” Shapiro tweeted. “My full review of this flaming garbage heap of a film will be out on my YouTube channel tomorrow at 10am ET.”

The movie, produced by Warner Bros., is expected to bring in roughly $70 million on opening day, according to Deadline.
The movie is projected to have the strongest opening weekend of any film this year at a whopping $150 million, the report said.
The other top movie being released this weekend is Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” which was produced by Universal. The report said that the movie was expected to bring in roughly $75 million on opening weekend.
Angel Studios’ “Sound of Freedom,” which was released earlier this month, has had an impressive showing in theaters, bringing in more than $100 million.
