BACKLASH: USAA Resumes Advertising With Hannity

   DailyWire.com

Financial services firm USAA has reinstated its advertising on Fox News Channel’s Hannity, following criticism from clients over its decision to join an advertiser boycott of Sean Hannity’s television program initiated by Media Matters for America (MMFA).

Media Matters for America is a neo-Marxist and Democrat-aligned political agitation group founded by Clinton loyalist David Brock. It operates as an extension of the Clinton family’s political apparatus.

Upon its decision to halt advertising on Hannity, USAA said its policy was to avoid politically opinionated shows.

A 273-page discussion thread entitled “Sean Hannity” on USAA’s website has hundreds of messages from users claiming to be USAA customers; many expressing disappointment with USAA’s decision to align itself with MMFA:

I did NOT risk my life to protect the 1st Amendment for this bank to turn on it because some fascist left organization did not like what a reporter had to say.I have 7 accounts at this bank with over 250k passing through it annually. If this Bank will not stand up to the Constitutional values I fought for, then I will remove all my accounts and tell me veteran brothers to do the same. You have 10 days to retract and put out a public statement. Stay out of politics!!!

I have been with USAA a long time and I can not believe USAA has caved in to the left… I will be looking for a new insurance company

I found out that USAA pulled its advertisements from Fox’s Hannity show do to the liberal left pressure. I would point out tht by a 3-1 margin the military supports Trump and by a 2-1 margin the veterans support Trump. I am pretty sure “caving” to liberals such as the Soros backed Media Matters is not in line with your membership. I have been a long time member with multiple products and am seriously considering moving my portfolio due to your company’s decision to fall in line with Fake liberal pressure. I am disappointed in this company and will tell everyone.

USAA primarily markets its services to military persons, veterans, and their families.

In a Tuesday-issues statement, USAA said:

We heard concerns from many members who watch and listen to these programs. Our goal in advertising has always been to reach members of the military community who would benefit from USAA’s well-known commitment to service. Today, the lines between news and editorial are increasingly blurred.

In its report, the Associated Press (AP) accused Hannity of peddling a “discredited conspiracy theory” regarding the murder of Democrat operative Seth Rich. No similar language has ever been used by the AP to describe the narrative – pushed by news media outlets such as CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post – of President Donald Trump as an agent of political subterfuge in service of the Russian state.
