<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing slammed Disney on Wednesday for their push to inculcate children&#8217;s content with radical gender theories and queerness.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Boreing made his comments about Disney on Wednesday evening during a live-streamed town hall where he announced that the company will be investing $100 million over the next three years to bring children’s entertainment to The Daily Wire. While children’s content had been in the works for months, Boreing explained that recent revelations coming from Disney made it clear that now was the time to announce an alternative.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Today … we got to see leaked footage from inside Disney of high-up Disney employees saying things like, ‘We have a not-so-secret gay agenda,’ saying things like, ‘We’re adding in queerness’ whenever we can,” Boreing explained, referring to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/not-at-all-secret-gay-agenda-disney-employees-break-down-adding-queerness-to-shows-and-degenderizing-theme-parks">videos</a> of a Disney all-hands meeting posted to Twitter by Chris Rufo. “So what are we going to do about it?” the Daily Wire co-founder asked. “We’re going to do the same thing we always do: we’re going to build alternatives.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“You’re supposed to give kids a safe environment to be kids. You’re not supposed to be challenging kids with radical new ideas,” he commented, taking a jab at Disney’s push to confront children with gender and racial theories in kids’ programming.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prefacing the big announcement, Boreing said that “Americans have enormous economic might, they just don’t have any alternatives. The Daily Wire is building those alternatives, and today, I’m proud to tell you that we will be launching [DW Kids].”</span></p>
<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s an underserved audience that is longing for these alternatives,&#8221; Boreing said of those on the Right, Center, and Left who don&#8217;t agree with leftist corporations&#8217; obsession with gender theories. &#8220;There&#8217;s an underserved audience that has just been waiting to purchase content that they believe in — to give their money, not to those woke corporations, and woke media companies, and woke kids entertainment companies that hate them, but to companies like ours that honor them, to companies like ours that represent them.&#8221;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During his speech, Boreing also focused on how The Daily Wire providing alternatives to the Left&#8217;s culture, like Daily Wire Kids, helps build a future that exemplifies conservative Christian values instead of simply complaining about the Left’s anti-Christian and anti-American restructuring of the future.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fighting to hold onto the past, Boreing explained, “is a bad vision for conservatism. That is a losing vision for conservatism.” Boreing emphasized that The Daily Wire doesn’t “want to live in a decaying culture,” but rather aspires “to build an ascending culture.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Our best days can be ahead,” Boreing said in the address to his employees that was also live-streamed on The Daily Wire app and YouTube. “Walt Disney said all of our dreams can come true if we believe. That’s what we’re saying. We have to believe in that future.”</span></p>
