<p>Daily Wire host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/candace" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Candace Owens</a> slammed singer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/lizzo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lizzo</a>, her fans, and the so-called <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/fat-acceptance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fat acceptance movement</a> for &#8220;advocating&#8221; &#8220;depression&#8221; and &#8220;unhappiness.&#8221;</p>
<p>Lizzo has routinely <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/lizzo-body-icon-i-like-being-fat-1235037977/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">promoted her fatness</a> and even once seemed to <a href="https://www.instyle.com/beauty/health-fitness/lizzo-10-day-smoothie-cleanse" target="_blank" rel="noopener">clarify</a> her dedication to the fat acceptance movement after she was hit with backlash for going on a 10-day health detox, apparently countersigning the movement.</p>
<p>&#8220;What she&#8217;s advocating for, really, is depression, unhappiness,&#8221; Owens <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPBnfR7Q1Wc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> host Brett Cooper on The Daily Wire&#8217;s &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/TheCommentsSection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Comments Section</a>.&#8221; &#8220;Eating Oreos &#8230; and drinking Cokes all day is not going to make you a happy individual.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I feel like people should know that, because that&#8217;s what Hollywood does: they advocate lies that actually harm individuals,&#8221; the 33-year-old mother-of-two added.</p>
<p>&#8220;There is no way that somebody that is that size is happy, and I want to make that abundantly clear,&#8221; Owens asserted. &#8220;She may have all the things that she has, and she may have access to private jets, and she may be smiling in these commercials, and have a fat bank account &#8230; but at the end of the day, you cannot carry that much weight on you and wake up and be happy every day.&#8221;</p>
<p>Cooper and Owens agreed that Lizzo, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson, is talented and has a &#8220;bubbly&#8221; personality, but has unfortunately become a &#8220;symbol for overindulgence.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I love food, I love being fat, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lizzo-bares-her-entire-butt-in-revealing-new-instagram-promo-for-yitty-shapewear" target="_blank" rel="noopener">I love to be fat in front of my private plane</a> and be half naked &#8212; and if you don&#8217;t like it, it&#8217;s because you&#8217;re problematic and not me,&#8221; Owens mocked.</p>
<p>The BLEXIT founder also slammed the &#8220;Good As Hell&#8221; singer&#8217;s fans for cheering what Owens suggested was Lizzo&#8217;s inevitable demise.</p>
<p>&#8220;Lizzo, your fans hate you,&#8221; Owens said, &#8220;they&#8217;re obviously advocating for you to die, you just can&#8217;t see it because they&#8217;re cheering you on as you kill yourself.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Your music is great, but also your fans want you to die,&#8221; the &#8220;Candace&#8221; host added.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not shaming fat people who want to be better,&#8221; Owens emphasized. &#8220;I am shaming fat people who are pretending that fat is a good way of living. It&#8217;s a lie. It&#8217;s just a lie.&#8221;</p>
<p>The politico noted that her father, who&#8217;s &#8220;struggled with obesity his entire life,&#8221; recently lost 80 pounds. &#8220;He&#8217;s just so happy,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>&#8220;He had a wake-up call when he got really sick from COVID, because obesity impacts everything,&#8221; she said.</p>
